“I don’t consider myself a DJ, though I’ve always loved the art form. Other than the very few occasions I have played records for an audience, I usually approach mixes like I would have private mixtapes back in the day: my tapes were always themed and included selections of music I was listening to, both old and new, as well as a few of my own tracks. I would often make a short track specifically for the mixtape, after I had already put most of the playlist together. Warped and detached audio set to atomic shot on video era visuals represents the atmosphere to this low budget thriller’s vivid running commentary.
The album arrives on heavy weight vinyl with screen shot artwork from the film.
