In 2021 we will present the series »Unpublished Reports from Level 23«, which is based on the 2020 series »The Untold Stories of the Sinking Sea!«. The number 6 in this year and number 136 since the beginning in 2011, is from a young sailor, who has grown dear to my heart as a friend - AND - I think he is a talented producer and an upcoming artist: https://soundcloud.com/ouhana .

Our common history is still quite young and fresh and began on the roof of a rather tall skyscraper. I'm still very grateful for the weekend, the two-day birthday party and the encounters - because, among other things, I got to know this young sailor. He played his set right befor me and unfortunately I wasn't really able to perceive his set until the end. But, above all, I remember him with his open and very loving manner. Yes, well, it should take a while, he sailed out to sea, I stayed on land - only none of the other knew that and so it needed the Mannheim collective https://soundcloud.com/slowbar and Wiesogeradeschräg again to bring us on a Festival together. The hair was blowing in the wind, we laughed, had a casual time and played music together - this is how it feels when sailors are free and can do what they want: making music. Music, we process feelings and thoughts and can communicate through them - share them with you and dance to them. Sometimes a sailor has to go out to sea alone before he knows exactly where the journey should go - Richard aka Ouhana his journey to the sea should reflect exactly that and I think he has found the right tracks to capture this mood and make it audible. Here is my live set from Envision 2019 in Costa Rica. This was one of the most powerful sets of my life. I played live so it is all loops and improvised instrumentation with my three musician friends that accompanied me on the journey: Darren Austin Hall on vocals, Marcelo Berges on guitar, and Chris Assaad on vocals. All three of these guys are great musicians in their own right so it was really fun to collaborate with them and weave this journey for a really beautiful group of people ready to receive these vibrations with a totally open heart and mind.
