Verse 1

Sometimes I don’t want to write. When everyday starts to feel the same. How can I write the next verse and see a change. The area outside the comfort zone was my claim to fame. Now i’m more comfortable with everyday I awake. Maybe I need a break. I meditate and life feels like a piece of cake. Everything sweet. But it’s bitter when I hear about the things others had to see. I thank you God that I still have my family. Meeting so many for the first time recently. Made me understand more how much you’ve blessed my life. I need to share this blessing to the end of time. Brother asked me why I’m awake at this time. Had to respond that “i’m always awake.” The dreams just feel like i’m awake in another world. Aim to gather all the memories that I once held. The combination might help me live in the moment. And I need the momentum to help me move forward. Is asking for forgiveness my only act of atonement? Am I the lone tree that needs to join the orchard? These fruits of wisdom I kept to myself. But i’m no longer the only person this verse could help.  I pray in due time I act on my calling. Because my music can’t be the one thing that i’m hoarding.

Verse 2

I wrote that verse the night I shared the music. I love my freedom they couldn’t care to lose it. Had the option to stay hidden didn’t dare to choose it. The deluxe wasn’t ready I still released the news quick.

I balanced being a creative with a 9-5. My timesheet might aswell say 9-9. I don’t know if this becomes something I monetise. I just pray I continue to see myself on the rise.

My art can turn the stairs into an escalator. I can drop it all at once or drop it ten years later.   Thats what happens-when you aim for the classics. This debut tape will be many times as massive.

I aim to make connections all over the globe. I’ll make being uncomfortable a comfortable home. I don’t doubt myself no more I know I can do it. Universes out in due time, need to get back to it.
