The history of Malay geomancy has never been documented, but the system contains cultural symbolism of Indian origin, indicating that it has existed as far back as the Hindu-Buddhist period of Southeast Asian history. Some conjecture that it may have been influenced by Indian vastu sastra or Chinese feng shui, both of which have traditionally been practiced in the Malay Peninsula. The earliest account of the art comes from the book 
Taj al-Mulk
 (meaning "Royal Crown of Sovereignty" in Arabic) written for Acehnese royalty. The title was pronounced "Tajul Muluk" in Malay so the information it contained was referred to as 
ilmu tajul muluk
 or just 
ilmu tajul
, meaning "knowledge of Tajul Muluk".


With the rise of the Islamization movement of Southeast Asia during the 1980s, animistic and Hindu-Buddhist aspects of Malay culture were condemned and banned. Today tajul muluk is considered a superstitious relic of the past and books written on the subject are sometimes banned in Malaysia.

Nama ilmu ini datangnya daripada suatu buku yang dituliskan untuk kaum kerabat kesultanan Aceh iaitu

 (Arab: تاج المُلْكcode: ar is deprecated - "mahkota raja-raja"). Ia turut mendapat nama sebagai 
ilmu tajul muluk

 sahaja.


Walter William Skeat, seorang pegawai kerajaan British dalam bukunya 
Malay Magic
 ("Sihir Melayu", 1900) menulis bahawa amalan ilmu tajul sering diamalkan penduduk tempatan (sekurang-kurangnya pada zamannya):


Naiknya kesedaran pendidikan agama dalam kalangan masyarakat Asia Tenggara pada tahun 1980-an menyebabkan sesetengah ciri budaya Melayu yang berakar daripada kepercayaan animistik dan Hindu-Buddha semakin ditegah dan dilupakan. Amalan tajul muluk kini dianggap sebagai suatu perkara khurafat lama, malah buku-buku berkaitan topik adakalanya diharamkan terbitannya di Malaysia.


Naskah asli manuskrip kuno tersebut awalnya hanya ditulis tangan dengan menggunakan huruf dari bahasa Arab. Kitab ini telah tersebar ke Malaysia dan menjadi begitu popular dikalangan masyarakat Melayu sehingga ramai orang barat menyangka kitab ini berasal dari negara kita dan ada yang menggelarkannya sebagai "Malay Magic Book".


Menurut seorang penulis British, Walter William Skeat dalam bukunya Malay Magic, yang diterbitkan pada tahun 1900, upacara tajul muluk adalah upacara kebiasaan masyarakat melayu. Amat memalukan bagi kita.





Ilmu Tajul

I would considered myself to be quite proficient/advanced with Inventor having used it for the last 3 years and designed a few plants with it, using Tube and Pipe and Frame Generator heavily. We are also looking at using AutoCAD electrical and the Electrical Cable routing module of Inventor.


So outside of the extra processing power required to design in Inventor over Plant3D, I can't see a single positive reason to use Plant3D over Inventor for all the modelling.
