Perc Trax opens its account for 2017 with the first full EP on the label from London's Manni Dee. As uncompromising in sound and as he is politically aware Manni is leading the next generation of London techno artists who continue the city's rich history of producers operating at the more extreme edge of the genre. 

Lead track 'London Isn't England' is a driving, sharp-edged slice of UK techno inspired by the June 23rd referendum result. Charging forward from the moment it starts, a searing lead line and Ewa Justka's distorted vocals only add to its relentless momentum. 

B1 track 'Mephi' keeps up the pressure hitting the middle ground between Perc Trax's heavy hitting sound and the more percussive output of the city's acid techno scene, whilst 'Adorable Disorder' allows a pause for breath yet still shivers with the uncertainty of the future.

Labelboss Andreas Henneberg has not been on the lazy side this fall traveling the globe playing massive shows in addition to releasing some heavy hitting EPs, and yet again he is ready with a proper dancefloor banger. This time we are introduced to a rather playful and slightly quirky side of Andreas, where “Daydreaming” takes the lead. The track is full of twists and turns with a playful synth working along a catchy groove accompanied by vocals telling you exactly how it is. It is a upbeat mood with plenty of dancefloor craze. Continuing the journey is “Landshut”, a powerful bassline driven tune in true Henneberg style. Synths pulsate and twirl throughout the track in this excellently constructed soundscape, all ready to make the listener let go and join the ride.

"Calling Earth" (1994) and the "House of House" (1994) are bonafide techno classics which Harry Axt has re-imagined for the dance floors of today. Tiari (A.K.A Trevor Caruso) tells a vicious story with his moody selections and dance tracks that give you no choice but to move your body to the rhythm. Born in metro Detroit he was heavily influenced by electronic music his entire life. At the age of 6 he learned breakdancing from the combined influence of his mother and older brother who was a big fan of hip-hop music. He has always been a fan of underground and punk culture which has led him to develop a deep dark minimal sound that has played out across the backdrop of a city that tells a similar story.

A part of the local electronic music/dance scene since 1996, he began to mix 2 years later. With minimal tunes and deep tracks that will give the squarest of lads no choice but to lace up their dancing kicks and get down. 

His productions are the result of over a decade of experimentation; utilizing what little equipment he could afford. Schooled on a couple drum machines and a sampler, Trevor Caruso developed his style with whatever toys, keyboards, or various other gadgets he could strap to his early 80’s Schwinn Tornado (Custom tiger-striped seating) and haul home from his local neighborhood garage sale. The feeling has produced that raw vibe of minimal madness that is sure to move the masses.

He has received wide support from various artists across the board such as Richie Hawtin, Sedative, Deepchild, Maetrik, Pheek, Miss Sunshine, Viktoria Rebeka, Octave, Monoloc, Mike Wall, Morgan Tomas, Audioinjection, BCR, etc...
