Born of a hazy memory and forged in the fire of discontent, comes ADULT DAY, the musical accompaniment to a melancholic fever dream.  ADULT DAY is the broken synapse brain trust of Toronto's Brett Paulin and Dan Workman, and it is both the cure and cause.  The plight of maturity has been unkind to our heroes, neither the message nor the medium is familiar anymore, and the soundtrack is stuck on repeat.  Turn it off, tune out, have an adult day.  Unbounded samples dusted with layers of psych-electronica run deep throughout, and the fragmented pieces of a gothic golden age bring just enough angst and intimacy for the tortured soul.  Cold-pressed percussion collides with saintly voices from the deep. Sonic and strange, ADULT DAY is modern-day culture gone rogue and fuel for the disenfranchised.  Let the past wash over you.
