Pleased to announce Machine Cult Edition Two. The release party will be taking place in OT301 (Amsterdam) on the 6th of April, featuring DJ sets by VOLPEVOLPE, Böhm, Aroy Dee, Freek Fabricius, Fast Ram and Déandrah who will be behind visual duties.

Planets circumference around it creating musical opportunities for discovery and to better interpret tragedy.
Despite ourselves becoming fully enthused by smokescreen calamities,
We start to choke wearing oxygen masks, whilst we observe each other adapting to this masochistic machinery.

Genèse du festival Astropolis 

30 ans, toute une période qui a vu la musique électronique se muer d'un phénomène de niche à une culture planétaire, façonnant nos soirées, nos identités et nos paysages sonores. 
Les pionniers de Detroit, Chicago et Berlin ont jeté les bases d'un genre qui allait bouleverser les codes de la musique populaire. Les raves, ces fêtes clandestines où la musique et la danse se confondaient, ont joué un rôle essentiel dans la démocratisation de l'électro.

30 ans pour assister à l'émergence d'une multitude de sous-genres, chacun avec ses propres codes et ses propres esthétiques. De la techno minimaliste à la house acid, de la trance psychédélique à la drum and bass, l'électro offre un panel de sonorités capable de satisfaire tous les goûts.

30 ans d’évolution à travers le prisme du programmateur artistique et co fondateur du festival Astropolis Gildas Rioulaen, grand témoin et visionnaire de ce mouvement qui aura connu une évolution sans précédent.

Le festival s’implique d’une année sur l’autre vers une meilleure responsabilisation des acteurs en présence et de son public.

Astropolis collabore étroitement avec de nombreuses associations (Orange Bleue, Consentis, Nous Toutes, Difenn) et institutions (Planning Familial, Le Collectif des Festivals…) pour lutter contre les violences sexistes et sexuelles en milieu festif.

Inclusivité, tolérance, partage, solidarité bienveillance et écologie
voila des mots d’ordre qui ont de la résonance pour le festival astropolis
