Am I Wasting Your Time

It's been a long process but we're ecstatic to finally announce the launch of 'Your Kisses Work' as part of our campaign to raise awareness for Lupus UK​, Lupus Foundation of America​ & St Thomas Lupus Trust​.

Lupus is a chronic and currently incurable auto-immune disease believed to be affecting thousands of people throughout the UK and about 5 million throughout the world, of which 90% are female.

Having experienced within the Tibican family what life is like living with Lupus, we have decided to release our first charity single. All profits will be donated to the three charities mentioned above.

‘Go Nowhere’ is the band’s newest release, out 1st September 2017. Following the success of their previous single, the guys teamed up with Squarehead Recs down in South-East Kent to get started on the ‘Go Nowhere EP’ featuring the expertise of resident genius Rob Wilks. Keep your eyes peeled for this one and any shows near you.

Introducing Tibican, Kent based collective with ‘a beautiful sound and a big heart’. First release ‘When You Love Your Love’ was grabbed by BBC’s Abbie McCarthy and soon followed with features from DKFM California and a support slots at London’s The Borderline & 229 Club. Delving in self-confessed ‘Indie-Alt Pop’ the guys take inspiration from the likes of Oasis & The Smiths while echoing the sounds of Foals, Wolf Alice and Kings of Leon. Musically the guys carve huge and melodic indie anthems based around emotionally driven lyrics, rolling basslines and euphoric walls of noise.

Reaping continued support, the guys independently released their first single ‘Your Kisses Work’ across all distributors in aid of global Lupus charities; Lupus UK, The Lupus Foundation of America & St Thomas Lupus Trust. Achieving 12k Spotify hits and features in ItsAllIndie, BBC Introducing & Scruff Of The Necks’ Weekly Top 5; This was then followed up with their joining forces with AWAL. Other highlights include airtime across radio station in the US, South America & Europe as well as premiere features in ItsAllIndie, LouderThanWar, Artrocker, ListenWithMonger among many others.
