Two rising forces in New York’s underground have joined together for a new collaboration that highlights their shared passion for vinyl culture and forward-thinking club music.

One half of the duo, Kurilo, is a Ukrainian DJ and producer with nearly a decade of experience performing and producing, having honed his craft during his period of life in Berlin before relocating to New York. The other, J. Richards, is a founder of Signal, the new Brooklyn club already making waves for its adventurous programming and uncompromising approach to sound. Known for his discerning ear and relentless pursuit of rare records, he brings a distinctive curatorial edge to the partnership.

Together, the two have established a dynamic chemistry behind the decks, combining deep experience with fresh energy. Their first joint project, a vinyl-only podcast recorded exclusively for Meoko, captures the essence of their collaboration—an exploration of timeless records, subtle textures, and refined dance floor narratives. What makes this mix particularly special is its atmosphere: crafted entirely from vinyl, it dives into deep, dark grooves and hypnotic moods, weaving a story that feels both intimate and relentless. Each track was handpicked to create a shadowy, immersive journey, reflecting the late-night energy of Berlin and the raw underground pulse of New York.

This marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for both artists, as they continue to shape New York’s evolving underground scene.

Saudi selector and LYMM co-founder, Majid has become integral in the Middle East community. He has grown in tandem with cultural happenings in Saudi Arabia and further afield where appearances at the likes Club der Visionaere, Studio Stereo, Soundscapes, Fabrika Festival, and closer to home, the Beast House series are becoming the norm for Majid. 

Having performed at our last two Saudi editions alongside Beast House, Majid exemplified the deeper aspects of house and techno while still keeping things fresh. We couldn't wait to welcome him to our mix series and he has delivered a recording that doubles down on the impact of these live performances. Shimmering deep house bleeds effortlessly into dub flecked percussive numbers, and with the mix peppered with attitude soaked vocals this mix slaps as much at dawn as it does at dusk.
