Fresh off a remix on Public Release's (@eug) latest EP, Vancouver-based producer @khotin turns up on the San Franciscan label again with his new solo effort, 'Aloe Drink'. Like its title suggests, the present batch metes out four organically-grown chill house groovers, both mildly bracing and revitalising as can be.

Duncan Gray (biog) : Perhaps best known as one half of the Sons of Slough along with Ian Weatherall - see discogs entry for details of releases. The Sons were a formidable Live act (see You tube) playing regularly across the UK. DG's own releases also gained some popularity, starting with cuts for Scatological (1996) Blue Black, Whole9Yards, SaltHill, through to Aquamelon (2009). Since returning to music production in 2013 he has released tracks on NEIN, Eskimo, Blindetonation, Play Pal, Rock to The Beat, plus Andrew Weatherall's vinyl only Birdscarer label. He has played guitar on half a dozen AW remixes.

Yes, I do want to hear new tracks. I am always interested in music which features REAL INSTRUMENTS - or electronic originality. I'm getting fussy these days...please email files to the email address above. (don't just send a soundcloud link please) If you don't know what the sound of this label is like, don't bother sending me stuff. I get quite a few demos with a note saying "I love the sound of your label" from producers who have clearly never listened to any of our releases.

PLEASE NOTE : 2020 release schedule now full, but I can always make room for something spectacular, or a really cool remix...
