The rich sound at the junction of Progressive House and Melodic Techno, seasoned with sensual vocals, risks becoming the hallmark of the project. It looks like the birth of new talents.

South African top talent Vanco joins the Afrocentric Records stable with his dynamic 'Reflections EP', featuring 2 original collaborations with local vocalists Njabulo Seh on 'Lutho' and Thandi Draai on 'Walls'. 'Lutho' is about a love lost and sees Njabulo belt out a heartfelt melancholy vocal that glides over Vanco's deep, cinematic Afro House grooves. 'Walls' is deep, percussive and ripe with earthy beats and sweeping synthscapes as Thandi serves her soulful tones, waxing lyrical on breaking down the walls of a broken heart. 
The package includes 3 remixes; the first from the mighty John Tejada (Kompakt/Palette Recordings), who lends his signature lush, deep electronic wizardry on 'Lutho'; Afrocentric's Cory Centric amps up tension with a darker vibe, laced with rich percussion on 'Walls'; and London producer Pablo Martinez delivers a deeply hypnotic version teased with eery synth waves and a potent breakdown.

Vanco is a multitalented DJ/Producer who has been turning heads on the South African House music scene and beyond since 2014 with his African, Latin and European fusions with a touch of Soul. 
He has worked with artists including Dj Mbuso, Roland Clark, Zepherin Saint, Boddhi Satva, Dj Clock, Zano, among others and received international acclaim in 2014 with 'Regeneration, reaching #1 on the top 100 Afro House Traxsource charts. 
Vanco has released on labels such as Tribe Records, Offerings Recordings, Afrocentric, Melomania Records, Uno Mas and Uncover Music, with his recent single 'Dancer', a collaboration Afro Warriors Ft. Charlene Lai making waves on international radio. 
Vanco continues to build his brand and perfect his craft with thumping percussions, heavy baselines and soulful vocals, intertwining rhythmically, igniting audiences everywhere.

DHS Premiere: Vanco Ft Njabulo Seh - Lutho

Ticker T, born Tshikani in Johannesburg South Africa in the 80s. Ticker was exposed to house music in 1999 when he attended street bashes in his neighboorhood and was intrigued and mesmirised by turntablists performing and moving crowds in these events. He then started practising the art of turn tabling where he mastered the art. Soon later Ticker T found that DJing was not the only art that moves crowds therefore he left the DJ scene to be baptised in the art of music production, where he returned to the house scene in 2010 and got slots in Changeroom Soweto, Mamelodi, and various events locally. Ticker revolutionised  the Soweto house  scene as he was one of the first local Djs to utilise digital midi controllers in Dj sets, this intrigued and mesmirised the crowds who booked Ticker.  Ticker T then established a record label and entertainment company in October 2010, and released his debut EP digitally in 2011 titled China, the EP. In 2012 Ticker released various singles digitally on the worldwide platform and got local radio airplay. In 2011 Ticker played various sets on the Durban house scene, killing the crowds at KoKo in Point str and Ghetto lodge, Bluff Durban Kwazulu Natal.   Ticker has released a 10 track studio album dubbed "Aural Delights volume 1 Deception on the dancefloor" worldwide on the digital platform through his label Aural Delights and features vocals from Sinne, Lindo, Low N and others on the 20th of January 2013. The album can be purchased on Beatport and other download sites.  Ticker Ts music is influenced by Franck Roger and Kerri Chandler, this is evident fom his use of Pads and strings to create seductive melodies.
