@wednesday_dj had an UNFOLD debut to remember two weeks ago, with a magical set that weaved trance, minimal psytrance and techno into one hypnotic sound.

After steadily making a name for herself over the last year, Wednesday took the opportunity at UNFOLD to explore the darker, faster tracks in her collection.

Miran N, co-founder and resident of the two rave series Power Play and Cadillac Escalate, is one of Berlin’s finest choon selectors. With his distinctively otherworldly sets, he never fails to captivate everyone on the dancefloor - no matter the genre. In his Proximix, @mirannolden explores a more playful, soft and progressive side, while maintaining his straight-to-the-core sonic immediacy.

Kicking off the new year and picking up the tempo we have a rly nice ride from one of our good friends Wednesday. 
 
Wednesday aka Hannah's foray into the scene began with a residency with South London's Co Select who put on quality underground DIY events around the city and were early advocates for balanced representation behind the booth.  Her first two mixes demonstrated an ear for selection and programming that stood out and led to us booking her for one of our parties, not knowing she had already been attending as a punter :)  With a character that matches her cheeky style, Wednesday has slowly been building a name for herself playing across town and further afield for Together Elsewhere, RE:SISTANCE, Free Movements, Above & Below Festival, Divine Risen, Hypersoft in Berlin and regularly at UNFOLD.  
Here she jumps straight into it with just over an hour and a half of craftily woven progressive trance and minimal psy.

@mirannolden did his Mana graduation in the west of Germany but is Berlin based since a couple of years already and part of the local Druid order and the Power Play warehouse raves. His mix blends transcendental and celestial Trance bits with goaish and deep soundscapes. Get ready for a planeswalk.

"I recorded this mix in the early days of Spring in Berlin. Sunlight poured through my window, dancing off the blossoming branches in the courtyard. Birds were singing, the air was cool and fresh — the kind that makes you want to slow down and breathe a little deeper.
I lit some incense, sifted through my collection, and picked out tracks and records that felt right in the moment. Then I hit play — one take, all heart.
This set is made for quiet moments: lying back at home, wandering through a park, or melting into a post-party cuddle session. Over the past few years, I’ve been diving deeper into the ambient and downtempo side of music, and I’m so excited to keep exploring and sharing this softer, slower space."

Rooted in the queer party scene, 131bpm is a dancefloor troublemaker known for stirring up energy wherever he plays. Mother of Fèmmme Fraîche and all things queer, Michelle dedicates her time to fostering FLINTA focused minorities in the queer scene, whilst creating safer, diverse and intentional spaces in night life and beyond. As well as being a promoter (Manetti recently launched FAE two weeks ago - a Sunday day party for queers featuring an all star lineup including BASHKKA and Angel D'lite)  Michelle is also a well respected DJ and producer in her own right, a stalwart of the East London scene With over 20 years of DJ-ing under her belt, it's safe to say she's no novice to the decks, with the passion, skill, panache and record collection of a well-established and well-refined DJ.

This is a really special mix and we are so honoured to have Michelle on the series. From bouncy percussives to peak-time floor-shakers, buckle up because this hour-long mix is a full-throttle ride!

Resident at Mess (Berlin), and Club Are (London), they have been refining their sound across Europe’s finest queer dancefloors over the last few years.  Their sound blends slow-building tension and euphoric highs, always navigating through an eclectic range of bpm and genres, seeking to explore the depths of sensuality. 

For this mix, they went back to the glory days of Parisian tech house from the 2010s. A flirtatious selection of slow beats laced with sultry grooves perfect for dim light, bold moves, and nights that blur into mornings.
