It’s an enticing mix of wavey trance, spirally motifs, swirling FX and potent drums, striking an otherworldly atmosphere. Coping with the ruthless northern winter, the pair find solace in fun and bouncy beats, warming the bones of themselves and Oslo’s underground scene. Percussive by nature, eros delivers a seventh edition of the Markham Mix series that checks every imaginary checkbox we’ve dreamt up. Fast, it’s definitely fast…but also slow? With some real mind bending moments we’d suggest finding some time for this one. Don’t worry if you’re a bit tired too, it’s sure to have you moving in no time 

Over the past few years, Chicago-born, Brooklyn-based DJ Eros has steadily refined an eclectic and singular sound steeped in variegated rhythms and leftfield sonics. With a penchant for all things warped and percussive, their unpredictable sets often snake through various genres and tempos, encompassing everything from mutant bass and drum-coated club to fractured techno, dancehall, juke, and more. These boundless interests spurred them to launch Ring Flip, a genre-agnostic night at Bossa Nova Civic Club that has played host to some of the most talented and individual DJs in New York and beyond.

As you’ve guessed, this compilation is the crowning achievement of our trilogy and coincides with our first year in existence - exactly one year ago, DALF was born. And today, we close the loop by celebrating the natural and beautiful consequence of love: when two beings unite, they create life. DALF vol. 1+1=3 embodies that magical moment when love gives birth to something greater, something deeper, where “we” transcends “I.” This union brings together artists and friends from all corners of the globe to infuse their own vision and energy.

@kessleruk's contribution 'Doctor's Order' is a hard-hitting banger packing ravey percussion and serious bassweight. 

Ying Yang says: ‘Complex Contrast’ mirrors the vision of the imprint as a whole, bringing together a multitude of textures, tones and themes that collide and weave into one other for a visceral experience. A deluge of different soundscapes complete the V/A and every artist featured has brought an element of their own aesthetic to shape the direction of the label. Spiralling dark rhythms from Blue Hour, Gritty and unease mutation from Mutant Joe, cosmic melodies from SAAH, futuristic sounds from False Persona, D&B goodness from Ani Klang and Kessler, screwface techno from Rune Bagge and Offtrack and many more have come in strong to signify a resounding turning point in Yin Yang’s trajectory.
