slow math

just wanted to test my new usb port. this is a little taste of my bass and my new pedal board. yes, i'm sure it's a bass, and it's only one track. 

a taste of what's to come.

a riff i'm working on, messing around with tapping a bit. first attempt at recording with my telecaster bass.

this riff was inspired by a warm day and a pretty lady.

if you're a bird, i'm a bird

yet another work in progress. there are dozens of little mistakes in this song, but i felt like uploading it anyways. i'm far from a perfectionist. 

this track is two layers of my doubleneck acoustic bass. all played on the top neck, i still am terrible with the fretless. my favorite part of this recording is the huge natural reverb the doubleneck gets. a big difference from all my other recordings is that this one lacks any effects. 

i might re-record this with a mix of acoustic and electric, the first and third sections were written on the doubleneck but the middle was actually an old bit from my hollowbody that sounds pretty awesome with some distortion. who knows what the future holds.

western hospitality

This is, or will be, a sort of dumping grounds for some of the musical concepts floating around in my brain. i only play bass. if there's any "drums" added, it'll be from my korg ds-10 emulator. so don't expcet much.
