Guest Mix sets

I created this mix series during my travels in Australia, New Zealand and entire South East Asia. It was a very memorable time. Probably the best in my life.

I just started Djing when I decided to go on this trip and didnt want to miss it. I decided to take my DJ gear with me go around and ask for gigs and release every month a new mix for my audience. It was very exhausting to carry my Dj gear through Jungles, big cities, from Bus to Bus and train to train. Now I can say it was definitely worth it and thanks to that I had some really nice gigs in some great locations. 

Nowadays I decided to release a set every time when I travel to share some excitement with you guys. I hope you enjoy this mix series! Have fun listening!

Bio (German):
Sensual Delight ist geprägt von Sinnesfreude, [nicht die Bedeutung der „sexuellen Sinnesfreude“, sondern die „musikalische Sinnesfreude“] weil er mit seinen vorantreibenden basslastigen Deep-Melodic-House Elementen aufgemischt mit viel melancholischen-melodischen Leads für eine rührselige, herzige und seelenvolle Stimmung sorgt.

Seine Sets waren zudem immer authentisch, denn er legte 15 Jahren ausschließlich mit Vinyl auf. Das erste Mal stand er schon mit 15 Jahren im heimischen Dachboden hinter den Decks und hat sich von der Pike auf, alles selber beigebracht. Angefangen mit Techno und dann später Minimal, kannte er sich mit Dj-Künstlern und dem Feingefühl für Turntables schon früh aus und baute sich damit sein musikalisches Fundament auf. 
So langsam kam er dann in den Melodic-Techno und Melodic-Tech-House Bereich und seit ungefähr 8-9 Jahren legt er nur noch emotionales und einfühlsames Deep-Melodic-House auf.

Jedoch seit 8-9 Jahren etwa hat er den Enthusiasmus einer neuen Technologie für das digitale Mixing gefunden und zwar mit dem populären Traktor Kontrol S4. 
Nun stehen ihm dadurch das vollständige Spektrum der Künstler und deren Labels zur Verfügung, denn bei Vinyl ist dies ziemlich mühselig. Demgegenüber bestehen ihn neue Möglichkeiten der Trackauslese und es scheint ihm keine Grenzen im Workflow bei der Kreativität und Entfaltung zu existieren. Seit ungefähr 2 Jahren hat er sich jedoch noch eine nicht unwichtige Technologie angeeignet, nämlich mit professionellen Dj-Playern (sprich die bekannten CDJ’s) zu mixen. Diese elementare Technik wollte er sich nicht entgehen lassen, um so wie in Clubs mixen zu können.

Nun kann er in der Auslese mit noch mehr ‚Liebe zur Melancholie’ in seiner Funktionslust oder noch verständlicher in seinem Schaffens- bzw. Tätigkeitsrausch (Flow), euch in seinen Set’s zur hypnotischen oder ekstatischen Trance verbannen, um dein Herz zu gewinnen und dir parallel tanzbare bzw. clubtaugliche Rhythmen zu präsentieren.

Dementsprechend denkt er mit dieser Richtung sein wahren Kern der Seele in der Musik entdeckt zu haben. Nach dieser Percussion ist er nun mit ganzem Herzblut und mit viel Liebe im Detail dabei, ständig neue Set’s und Podcast’s zu kreieren und sie via Internet der Öffentlichkeit zu präsentieren. Denn nichts auf der Welt macht ihn glücklicher als eure Herzen zu erreichen und euch mit seinen Klängen einen Beat um die Ohren zu werfen der euer Tanzbein mehr als nach vorne schwingt. Außerdem sollte man bei ihm erwähnt haben, dass er sein ganzer Job als Dj, welches er mit Herz und Seele erfüllt, nur aus reinem Gefühl für die eigene Ehre macht.

Every DJ has their own style, but they never played what I liked and that's why I decided to start my own career. My sound has a lot of variety between Techno, Tech House, Minimal and Melodic Techno. Based in Switzerland, but originally from Berlin. The City itself, which is well known as one of the capitals of electronic music, had a big influence on me and formed my taste in music today. I Build up my sets, to give the audience a journey through sounds and emotions.

A music lover currently based in Pakistan who has had his fair share of adventures and learnings into electronic music from all around the globe. He always tries to make a point by going Beyond Genres as his credo despite any occasion his musical instincts always come out with the upbeat vibes to any piece of set he ever tries to record.

As SmoothSailing got into electonic music back in 2005 era when
Trance ruled the world and drew inspiration from the likes of Tiesto back in his trance era. As diverse as his musical taste gets he still loves to listen to the old legends and prefers the music instead of the artist name, hence the sound always comes out with a natural smoooth sailing signature. His personal preference is for long duration all night sets but has to tailor it out given the music landscape of today.

Bio:
"Unknown Species" emerged from the raw energy of Leipzig’s underground scene in the mid-90s. We were a small group of trainees and students, united by a shared passion for electronic music, spending every bit of our money on records and music equipment.

Driven by hard-hitting Techno and Acid sounds, we made our mark by throwing legendary parties, turning abandoned factory spaces into mind-blowing, otherworldly experiences — always just for one night. As part of "Unknown Species" I also got to play my sets at a variety of clubs, including iconic spots like Distillery, Elastic, and Conne Island.

The Party was a true success. Great people and vibe. The artists did an amazing job with their music and it was overall a night to remember. 

The start made our resident DJ @tidus-3 . He heated up the dance floor with an outstanding melodic / progressive DJ set, but later a bit harder with Techno. Our next DJ had an easy job to take over. Thanks for the amazing warm up set. Always a blast to have him on our parties.

Bio:
CAMILA (AR) is an emerging electronic music artist from Chaco, in the northeast of Argentina. She began her journey in the music industry in 2023.

Her sound is defined by a fusion of genres, with progressive house as a foundation, enriched by organic elements and the intensity and depth of techno, resulting in a diverse and innovative sonic palette. Ranging from bright, emotive melodies to dark, immersive textures, her music invites both introspection and movement, turning each performance into a unique and transformative experience for the audience.

Her music has been released on labels such as Univack, Sprout, UV, Freegrant Music, Zerothree, Timeless Moment and For Senses Records, among others. She has collaborated with artists including Zac and Tiefstone, and her productions have received support from respected figures such as Hernán Cattaneo, D-Nox, Zac, Aly & Fila and Cosmonaut.

She has also shared the booth with internationally renowned artists such as Hunter/Game, Hannes Bieger, Andrea Oliva, Layton Giordani, Emi Galvan and Sébastien Léger.

I was really busy lately and had barely time to set up a good new mix due to my preperation of my gig next week. There will be more coming soon.  For now enjoy my new April set. It´s a little bit more underground and has barely vocals, though I think it´s a good mix to warm up before a party or just to listen to it in a park, especially now where the temperatures raising up.
