Moon was always involved in the music scene in Moscow. But her passion for travel helped to build up her eclectic music taste, adding vinyl from each destination she visits from across the world. Since 2015 she left Moscow to travel and performed all around Asia and Europe. In 2017 while she was in China she started her project “Techno Motel” with monthly events which are still running. This was created with the vision of developing a musical culture in Shenzhen city and bringing some of the most well-known artists to debut in Southern China and different countries. She had a showcase tour of “Techno Motel” in China and Russia with her partner and then she moved to Bali where she focused on music production.

-What inspired you to start making music in your beginnings as a music producer or dj?

The feeling of freedom wen I first try it but I also have to mention Ruben Villegas give me a big push and facilitated everything for me to be able to start.
   
-Can you describe your first ever gig, what did you felt?

My first real gig was at our friends house which supposed to be a small gathering and turn into a 250 pp plus project X in a blink of an eye,  we had casually organized the line up between friends but almost everyone end up not coming true so I end up having to play a 5 hr. plus set till sun rise!  Felt amazing just  being present in the moment and flowing whit the energy is the same feeling I get from surfing or sailing as cheesy as it sounds. 

- What advice can you give to newcomers that want to be like you or any other influential dj?

Put in the time practice and listening to a lot of different music travel and do many different things to keep u fresh and inspired. But in a more get started 101  1. Always bring your USB 2. Always be willing to carry speakers or help in waverer u can 3. Be the first to show up and the last to leave 4. Find your crowd find your people and let them find you.  

-What has been the most difficult experience as a producer or dj, how did you overcome it?

Not to let my self get influenced by other peoples opinion or by how people I look up to play or do things , To over come it I just had to learn to follow my gut.

With the next and twelfth installment of Tiefenrausch the dub techno label sets foot on the new continent again. The deep sea journey is joined by San Fransisco based artist Federsen and Bran- don Moeller aka Echologist or Beat Pharmacy - who contributed a remix to the three track EP.

“The Myth EP” represents Federsen raw and analogue signature sound. Warm and distorted machine noises create the pad for minimal drum patterns, bass grooves and accentuated chord echoes. On the A-Side Federsen shows us his unique style with “Contrasts”. Brandon Moeller on the other hand contributes his own sound and rounds up the EP with dubbed interpretation of Federsens “Murmer”. The EP ends with the original version of that track.

The release is designed by Alex Ketzer who joins in for a collaboration with the illustrators Magdalena Paz and Florian Gassmann for the next releases of the Tiefenrausch label. The audio is mastered by SALZ music and the EP comes on 180g vinyl and shrink wrapped.

Tiefenrausch closes the third season of releases with an excellent and extraordinary record. On his Holmsund EP Biodub continues exploring the possibilities of dub influenced electronic music. The four tracks all represent their own special approach, while integrating perfect into the whole EP. 

The title track “Holmsund” takes you on a floating journey based on decent field recordings captured on a trip through the endless landsapes of northern Sweden. With “Udu” biodub presents a super mellow grooving track arranged around the deep sound of a pair of Udu drums. “No Tumble Down” is a stripped down dub techno track that features intense reaggae vocals sung by Ray Darwin. The closing track “Return Of The Dead Rider” is a reminiscence of the track “Dead Rider” from Biodub’s first album “Reisegefaehrte”. Syncopated  structures build up until a sweet, melancholic acoustic guitar breaks through and  carefully leads into a pumping downtempo groove and back again. Absolutely recommended!
