When not trotting the globe, they release regularly on the worlds leading electronic music record labels, with this year alone spanning Suara, Ultra, FFRR, Defected, as well as remixing indie band White Lies on their very own Kittball imprint.Therefore their latest release on Kittball is one that will fall on thousands of eager ears, particularly as each track is produced in collaboration with three of the labels favourite artists. "In the Shadows" is the first on the release, a track created alongside Ante Perry that contains a murky bassline, funky guitar plucking, and fluttering vocals – a peak time party number. In "Reliquia" the duo team up with PAJI for a gloomy production comprising sweeping synths, melodic keys, and a distorted spoken sample. It is a deep and atmospheric affair that will make for some spine-tingling moments on any dancefloor. Tying up the release is a collaboration with in.deed titled "Highness", a poignant cut complete with sultry synths, elegant chords, and rich low-ends, until subtle keys trail off concluding a fresh and innovative release.

For a taste of what La Fleur dishes out in the clubs, lock into the mix she provided us with earlier this year. Cyber-like, trippy and, at times, pretty relentless, it's just one of many things by the Stockholm DJ and producer to impress us.

Other bits to get our sign of approval include a hat-trick of EPs on her label Power Plant Records and last year's sublime 'Arms Around' EP on Watergate, which featured techno big-timer Carl Craig under his C2 alias.

She releases on Watergate (the label-wing of the Berlin club she's a resident at) once again with the three-track 'Make A Move' EP.

Its a bold and brave producer who takes on the task of remixing a stone-cold classic cut from the annuals of House history, but thats just what Joris Voorn, KiNK, Phil Weeks and Ambivalent have done with their fresh versions of DJ Dozia’s Ovum debut ’Pop Culture’.

Originally released back in 1998 ‘Pop Culture’ rapidly gained cult status on the underground. Created by fellow Philly resident Dozia Blakey, the raw and sparse original, at over ten minutes, was made for the dark, strobe-lit, sweat-on-walls rooms where it found favour. Backed by the equally popular Size-9 remix, ‘Pop Culture’ was, and still is, a record that never leaves the box for many. Now, with a fresh set of remixes, its set for a glorious return.
