This song was written by the two members of Tiens, and since it was the first song we wrote under the name Tiens, we titled it "La 1ère Étape", which means "the first step".

This song is about a cat that lived with us that passed away, and we wrote the chorus melody while we were in the midst of our grief.

We wrote the song to express our gratitude for the cat that passed away and our desire to see him again.
