Introducing our latest single, titled "Shams," meaning "Sun" in the Arabic language. 

This track serves as a unique fusion of our three distinct musical worlds. The first segment unfolds the mesmerizing realm of our vocals, weaving a tapestry of cinematic spirituality and intense emotional depth. The second part immerses listeners in the powerful and energetic domain of our keyboardist, delivering a potent blend of strength and epic dynamism. The final section catapults audiences into the guitarist's world, where funky dance vibes converge with an electrifying energy.

Having showcased "Shams" in our live performances for over a year, our intent is to encapsulate our individual artistic visions within a singular composition. This song serves as a bridge between live and electronic music, allowing us to captivate audiences not only on grand stages but also within the pulsating ambiance of clubs. It's a testament to our desire to merge diverse musical landscapes and create an unforgettable experience for our listeners.

So the inspiration for this track was given to me through our conversations about many things like parties &
music and how it makes you feel.
This track was originally based loosely around the artist called Darkside, which provided inspiration to the intro
of the song. Maratus' touch with guitar and vocals and is enhanced through Just Emma's amazing ability to
provide dark, driving and melodic elements to make up a unique track for the dancefloor listeners.

Welcome our new EP, featuring original music by Nadav Dagon, as well as amazing remixes from Max TenRoM and Catatonique!

Nadav Dagon is a sizzling organic house producer whose sun-drenched tracks and live performances fuse live instruments with synthesisers and drum machines. He is an Israeli artist who has played international shows everywhere from India to Brazil, and his music has been released on prestigious record labels such as Camel Riders, 3000 Grab Records, plus his own Circle of Dreams. Nadav Dagon also collaborated with Roy Rosenfeld for a release on Guy Gerber's Rumors.

Carla Valenti collaborates on one of the original tracks in the style that the Chilean artist has featured on the likes of LNDKHN and BLOND:ISH's Abracadabra Music. The other original track has been made alongside GALGO (IL) and Yinon Dar.

On remix duty, Max TenRoM is a French artist who blends jazz musicianship with electronic sounds. Inspired by exotic sounds and different world cultures, Max TenRoM's music has been supported by people ranging from Goldcap to Above & Beyond, and his tracks can be found on imprints such as MONADA, Cafe De Anatolia and Harabe.

The second remix comes from Catatonique a Mexican duo whose downtempo style blends epic synths with immersive atmosphere and flowing percussion. Alongside releases on their own record label, Subnautique Records, their tracks and remixes can also be heard on the likes of Lump Records, Shango Records and kośa.

Opening the release is the collaboration with Carla Valenti titled, "Egypcia." The track centres around a modulating arpeggio synth that's shrouded by Arabic guitar chords and dramatic live percussion, while the thumping kick drum and throbbing bassline hold the groove steady.

"First Night Back" is second of the two original tracks, and it's a three way collaboration between Nadav Dagon, GALGO (IL) and Yinon Dar. It's a deep an atmospheric track with haunting vocals and soothing melodies, which are layered with shuffling percussion and a bassline that warps into a bubbling acid line.

Catatonique's remix of "Egypcia" focuses round a chugging section of the original's bassline, and adds new synths that give the track a chunky groove.

Max TenRom adds an Afro house vibe to "First Night Back," as his rework incorporates dramatic percussion and more prominent use of the original's vocal.

Folktronica is a style that was born as a seed sent by Mother Earth and reproduced around the world like flowers, being the musicians it's bees. From Latin America they made their way to the cities like the green arms of the Amazon, but with charangos, flutes and synthesizers, until reaching the most remote places of the Earth as a whole new voice in electronic music.

With the mission to find the precious balance between the world of traditions and technology, plus a touch of mystery and modernity, folktronica positioned itself as a genre in alternative websites such as Bandcamp and Soundcloud, and then became massive in Youtube and Spotify, which were filled with artists, fans and music that spread the style from Latin America to the world, finding then each region of the world its own interpretation of this mixture of ancient sounds and contemporary technology.

Today, in the midst of a chaotic present in humanity and in the face of a Western music industry focused on the purely commercial, the beauty and depth of this ¨mestizo¨ movement that speaks of Mother Earth, folkloric traditions, ancestral rhythms and themes of the spirit is often overlooked, meanwhile it keeps exploring with the highest musical technology and forming itself as a new great world underground movement. Today Ritmos del Sur undertakes a project to share, strengthen and value these musical ideas that already inhabit the whole world, with flavors that from Latin America also pass through Asia, the Middle East, Europe, Africa and much more. ¨This is Folktronica¨ is an eclectic compilation of 14 songs that are immersed in this genre, a spiritual nectar that we hope will bring you peace, joy and lots of rhythm to cheer your body and soul.

Using music to convey a message of love and gratitude, Tierra Profunda has managed over the past 3 years to fully integrat e itself into this large tree of artists and to stand out with its multiple sounds traveling through the immensity of electronic music culture. 
Immersing himself in the light of organic house and the depths of downtempo, Tierra Profunda has already colored the airwaves with several tracks released on multiple labels, which have received more than encouraging acclaim and feedback. 
The release of the E.P Horizons in 2021 on the Tibetania records label has been a huge springboard within the music industry, with 2 remixes by the great Jack Essek and the talented Majed Salhi. 
This was followed in 2022 by the release of the track Raiz on the prestigious Kosa records label, which received a great reception with an entry in the Hype Beatport top 100 in the organic house, downtempo category. 
After appearing in France for private events, in Chile at Puesco Fest and at Sunday ecstatic dance sessions in Pucon (Chile), there's no doubt that Tierra Profunda's place in the world of dance music will continue to grow.
