This song was originally written for the first Little Jackie album "The Stoop", back in the days when I thought it was funny to rap. It wasn't put on the album for obvious reasons, the Sesame Street sample would've been impossible to clear, especially given the content of the lyrics. I'm kinda poking fun at my parents in this song. All the weirdness of our upbringing aside, I think they taught me how to be a free thinker, and question everything in life. And I appreciate that. They are a great source of inspiration when it comes to making comedy out of crappy circumstances...and I apply this to all aspects of my life.
