Convoi Exceptionnel 02 w/ Tiflis - 2nd May 2023

What a bizarre day it was! Had a smile from ear to ear throughout the entire set. So many friendly faces backstage, frontline and in the crowd, this was truly special. Probably my most cherished DJ experience, so I am happy to share the set with you. 

It's a compilation of latest discoveries, hits from the days of yore and tracks I've been wanting to play at a party for a very long time. Overall it came together quite nicely and the energy in de crowd was damn lovely! Thanks everyone for dancing, Mom especially. Thanks Dirk en Olivier for this slot <3. Thanks Gijs, Willem, Koen en Tim for warming the crowd and putting the ball on the penalty spot. Thanks Dwayne for hyping the crowd and thanks to De Zon for the perfect intimate setting to send this sunny Sunday off for one in the books, mine at least hehe. 

PS. Because of my enthousiasm and jumping backstage-afficionados there are some minor fuckups and messy transitions, but the crowd didn't mind, so neither should u :)

For the coming shows I'd like to push myself to discover the outer premises of my interests and orientate on genres I am not all too familiar with. For the first orientation I focused on UK based artists and sounds that originate from the UK culture, encompassed with grimy vocals. As this sound always engaged my interest and just impossible not to be dancing to.  

Who knows what will come from this. I really loved to play these tracks. Hope you enjoy :)

Operating on the outer fringes of the contemporary music landscape, Jaimy has been active in the Amsterdam scene and beyond for over 10 years. Starting out as a passioned record collector, he’s crafted a fine taste for house, progressive house, techno and trance from the early 00’s and late 90’s. Aside from creating sweaty and high-energy dance floor moments by way of his bouncy and sexy groove inlayed DJ sets, Jaimy is a creative member of Oddysee, where he’s responsible for co-curating the platform’s record label, mix series and monthly radio show on Echobox Radio.

Her music is a reflection of herself: Bubbly, but modest. Mysterious, but outspoken. Besides a talented DJ, with her recent release on Loch Inn, she is putting herself on the map as a producer as well.
