Together we played a 3-hour live stream at Open Source Radio in one of the 6 protest cities (Nijmegen) at the same time as the protests. We voiced up through music. After releasing four compilations on cassettes featuring tracks from Bliss Inc., Low Tape, Maruwa, DJ Lifegoals, Greenwald, DJ Safeword and others St.Petersburg based label Snippets Music present their first vinyl release. EP was written and produced by a musician from Utrecht, a regular guest of Operator Radio and the author of the digital release "Trans Atlantique" for Gestalt Records — Tifra.

For the debut vinyl release Tifra has prepared three tracks which were remixed by the artist who released vinyl releases on Lobster Theremin, Craft Music and GASP Records — Marco Lazovic and label head of 10010 Records — Ksky.

Re-imagining vintage club sounds through a contemporary lens, Tifra is no stranger to stretching the electronic music template into new forms and ideas. His left-field house and old-school breaks have found their way onto Gestalt Records and Rough Recordings, and here the producer turns in three cuts of blissed-out electronica, hedonistic progressive and jungle-run club with its sights firmly fixated front left, complete with a wicked remix from one of modern dance music's most reliable names - Roza Terenzi.

‘Plastic Replicant’ is a vocal-laced electro-house roller that takes inspiration from the golden-era of 90s electronic music and fuses it with the organic, multi-genre blends of the current gen. The ravey continuum is laced with high-frequency vocal stabs and deep basslines designed for a heads-down approach on the dancefloor, before ‘Entomology’ captures the playful side of the club with its shape-shifting acid-lines, trance-licked melodies and kaleidoscopic blend of colour, feeling and mood.

Out of the club and onto the beach, ‘International Waters’ is a trip-hop inspired, downtempo dub that will delight ambient and laid-back electronic-revelers with its chirpsing birds and aqua-like aesthetic, before Roza keeps the dualism alive with a stripped-back jungle flip of the original; the perfect score for the perfect daydream.

Emerging from Utrecht, Tifra has been making significant strides in the electronic music scene with his distinctive fusion of leftfield house, progressive rhythms, and old-school breaks. As always, it’s dance floor-focused with a clear nod to the '90s — progressive, deep and dubby, transcending, and heavy on the 303s. Immersive, but never drifting. Direct, but never dry. Forward-thinking and expansive.

This lane’s locked down by Roza Terenzi, Cybernet, Aju, Kalani, Ash Is, and Xupid — each carving out their space with raw, floor-focused energy. On A2, Xupid slips in Raindanc94, a long-lost gem some might recognize from D.Dan’s 2021 Boiler Room. Unreleased until now, it's finally getting the drop it deserves.

Transcending? You know it. Trance mind-melters? Always. Plastic GRN channels that classic ’90s Xpander sound. Alfred Czital drops a dance floor annihilator, while Dutch duo Match Box keep it as bright and club-ready as ever. It’s a full spectrum of sound, each track weaving into the next with peak energy and timeless hooks.

Progression, progression, progression — it’s shaped the ND sound from the start. Uplifting, expanding, always pushing into the outer zones. DJ Life delivers a floor-heating bopper, while Aiden Francis heads into widescreen, emotive territory. Jeku, Tifra, Cosmic G, and Laars return to the label, each doing the business in their own unmistakable style.

No 6-year celebration of ND would be complete without a proper deep dive. Baumb, fresh off his second EP last month, returns with those trademark low-end orbs, guiding us through the fog with finesse. Glen S strips it back and locks into a tech-deep groove. Harrison BDP lands on F1 with sublime, heads-down deep house, built around that unmistakable sample finesse — pure signature gear.

“Clubfoot” on A1 — precision disguised as ease. Gearmaster the Estonian duo deal in pressure, not excess: a thick, rolling, a bubbling acid line, and dub-warmed undertones glowing beneath the surface. Soft, delayed chords drift in and out like vapour, grounding the track in that classic dub techno haze. Reborn under a new name, they sound recalibrated and ready — gears turning, momentum building.

“The Body Radiates” is Earth Trax at his most direct. High-speed 303s coil through off-world, high-definition textures — bright yet tightly controlled. Crisp, hard percussion keeps the pressure constant, while flickering vocal chops cut through the mix with a distinctly ’90s pulse. It moves with purpose, gliding through the breaks and tunnelling toward the peak.

Featuring a mix of new northern hemisphere friends alongside the label’s enduring Australian roots, swampy minimal, shadowy tech house, hypnotic dub-techno, breakbeats, and trance-tinted excursions converge here. It’s an initiation into another side of the label, tripped-out, and lost in the haze.

Hailing from Utrecht, NL, Tifra has quietly been behind some of the most infectious dancefloor grooves in recent years. A producer of modern club mutations that could loosely be termed ‘prog’, his sound encapsulates much more- low-slung tech house, dubby shades of psy and Goa trance, deep, lush techno, and leftfield house reimagined through a razor-sharp production lens that sounds as fresh as does it timeless. It’s a synthesis of the organic and the mechanical: trippy, hypnotic rhythms, slow-burning melodies, and a keen focus on the dancefloor.

A prolific producer, he has released on labels like Haŵs, Duality Trax, PROXY, and Neptune Discs, receiving support from across the underground– chances are you’ve heard his productions on the sound system of your local club without realising it. With support from the likes of Aurora Halal, Konduku, Roza Terenzi and Byron Yeates, his tracks have featured in Resident Advisor mixes and have echoed through clubbing institutions around the world, from New York’s Nowadays to Berlin’s Panorama Bar. A deejay’s producer with the tracks to show for it.

Tifra’s DJ sets mirror his production aesthetic- wubby, tribal, groove-focused cuts that bridge the space between past and present, across introspection and dancefloor euphoria. His careful selections have landed him bookings at festivals including the likes of DGTL, ZeeZout, Into the Woods, and Mystic Garden as well as club appearances at renowned venues around Europe, most notably Lofi in Amsterdam, Drugstore Belgrade, and La Mazette in Paris.

Tifra is also a regular on Rotterdam’s Operator Radio and has contributed to several noteworthy podcasts, including Rey Colino’s Sizeable Mix and Tbilisi club KHIDI’s in house mix series. A torchbearer for contemporary psychedelic house music, Tifra continues to carve out his own space in the underground.
