Once again Thomas and Tassilo are back and this time they come direct with three fierce cuts of proper, intense Techno. The trio of tracks all embody the heavy, dark, and psychedelic moments of wild club moments and warehouse nights, yet all three tracks take a different approach to arrive with the same intention.

‘Radio Berlin’ kicks things off as a hefty and infectious groove sets the stage for a swirling hypnotic tone that weaves through strong blasts of cinematic tones and booming percussion shots in a slick, spell binding ride. Following suit but turning up the intensity and adding a bit more of an abrasive touch, ‘Deutsche Welle’ veers into truly sinister territory where mischievous arpeggios and breakneck percussion thrive on a backdrop of eery atmospherics, flawlessly creating a rave detonator. The final addition to the EP is definitely the deepest and most trippy campaign of the trio: 'Kanal 7’ is an absolute burner with an intensely addictive groove of rolling low end. Lush, spooky tones hypnotize and wildly dynamic patterns of unshakable percussion keep it ever evolving, forging a versatile and nostalgic tune with massive results.

“When I started to work on this track, I could not envision how it would turn out, I was just making it, bit by bit. After doing the first beats, I made the bassline using Reaktor. The sound and the sequence reminded me a bit of the old school stuff from The Hacker and David Carreta and the idea of inviting Kittin to do the vocals came to mind. She said she loved the track and she was gonna do the vocals and the result could not be better. I am a huuuge fan of hers going back many years and I have a lot of her records from when I started playing, right through to her recent productions. I remember when she went to Brazil about 15 years ago to play at one of the most loved clubs there at the time called Lov.e. I could not be there but I saw her on TV when she gave an interview on one of the country’s biggest channels. I vividly remember calling all my family to see it – I felt a huge admiration for her, her music, her style and everything about her. And I still do! I was a 17-year-old living in the Brazilian countryside at the time watching one of my idols on TV and could never have imagined that one day we would be doing a track together. Life is so unpredictable and this is a beautiful gift that music gave me.” - ANNA

ANNA & KITTIN - Forever Ravers

ANNA drops a triple dose of heat to mark her first EP on Drumcode.

ANNA first debuted on Drumcode with the irresistible groover ‘Portable Paradise’, which highlighted last year’s A-Sides Vol.7 and set up a busy year playing DC events in 2019. There was the memorable morning set at Space during WMC, two fiery gigs at Drumcode Festival and typically strong performances at the DC takeover at Resistance in Ibiza and Sonar. Fresh from her gargantuan collaboration with Kittin ‘Forever Ravers’, she steps up for a maiden EP on Adam Beyer’s flagship label.

‘Galactic Highways’ is propelled by an arresting peak-time riff and bombastic drums and was a storming addition to Beyer’s set at Drumcode Halloween recently. ‘Dimensions’ is the powerful brain scrambler, as a blistering wall of acid rubs shoulders with undulating bass notes for a dramatic finish. ‘Phase Two’ is a stirring, pad-laden beauty, driven by lustrous melody lines that cascade over the Brazilian’s punchy percussion.
