Feryne (@feryne) is a true music aficionado with a restless passion for authentic electro music, who has been crafting electrifying mixes focused on electro, IDM, and techno since 2005. Her sonic journey has led her to grace the stages of acclaimed clubs and festivals across Hungary, while also leaving her mark on international venues in many other European cities. Currently based in the Netherlands, she continues to push musical boundaries as a resident DJ at Nijmegen's very own Open Source Radio. @djtygre is the alias of San Francisco-based Andreas Tagger. He started DJing in 1995 and was active in the underground rave scene of Philadelphia until around 2000 when he opted to take a long hiatus from DJing. After the break, he recently became inspired by the darker sounds of Electro and Techno and has since been producing mixes at a break-neck speed in the last year. He told me that this mix "is meant to evoke the qualities of vintage computing magazines, vocoded pinball speech, and breakdancing under foggy strobe lights." Enjoy!

TIGERCAST stands as an engaging monthly podcast series, streaming on Fade Radio.
Its primary mission is to provide a platform for a wide-ranging spectrum of artists, each contributing to the elaborate and diverse landscape that defines the immersive realm of Electro.

5th TIGERCAST episode with EKATA

EKATA is a London based DJ/Producer + Natural Selection Resident who's productions are characterised by their dark and atmospheric soundscapes, driven by pulsating rhythms and intricate synth work.

Determined to create music that is unearthly, idiosyncratic, emotional and exuding futurism of that of a sci-fi film, she always ensures a story is to be told in each track she produces.
She mainly sticks to the dark and eerie side of Electro/Techno in her productions & gigs, where she will take you on a dark and twisted journey through incredibly dystopian, ominous grooves and obvious sci-fi fixations which embody her carefully picked selections. 

With her first release 'VIRYA' coming out on Avoidant at the end of 2022, She has had an unstoppable start to her production journey, already releasing on some of the best Electro labels out there;  Burial Soil, CHP Recordings, Cybersoul,  Furatena, Mars Frequency Records, Native Boundaries, Urban Connections and most notably her first solo release on Censor records in Jan 2024.

There's a lot more to be expected from EKATA this year, with releases scheduled on several labels and also her first tour outside of Europe planned for spring/summer this year.

Andreas started djing in 1995, creating mix tapes and playing drum and bass in Philadelphia's underground rave scene from 1997 to 2000 under the moniker "Tygre." Inspired by the darker sounds of electro, techno and drum and bass Tygre returns from a long hiatus to share his love for the music and art of mixing. Andreas currently resides in San Francisco and studies computer science.
In this mix, dark and stormy electro twists through a landscape of distorted bass and resolves in a post vortex calm.
