Hobart's Tiger Choir make noisy electronic pop music that captures the swagger, fear and confidence of four wide-eyed Tasmanians realising the infinite possibilities of the world outside of their island home. Since coming together in 2009, they’ve released both a self-titled EP as well as a debut LP, Unicycles, toured Australia and New Zealand – playing with the likes of Deerhunter, The Drums, Courtney Barnett, The Preatures and Holy Fuck! As well as gracing the stages of Falls Festival, Camp a Low Hum, Dark Mofo and A Festival Called Panama. 
Whist their earlier work drew upon a sample-based sound with prickly guitars and shouted choruses, the two intervening years spent traveling, living overseas, dealing with death and major breakups and a changing line-up have lead to a leaner, darker, more mature sound. To record their sophomore release the band holed up in a valley above Hobart before heading to Melbourne to mix with Simon Lam (I’lls, Klo) and master with Andrei Eremin.
