Fast rising star and favourite in the Hot Creations camp, Patrick Topping is back with another outstanding release after his highly successful debut EP was released on Hot Trax earlier this year, followed soon after by the even more successful ‘Any Amounts’ EP on Hot Creations. Knowing exactly how to work a crowd and making a name for himself with his extremely infectious basslines he delivers another release filled with dancefloor bombs. Melodic keys, trippy FX, intricate percussions and high energy build ups that turn into powerful drops make these three essential DJ weapons that are certain to dominate the dancefloor at peak time.

Through the old­fashioned demos route, Northerner Patrick Topping caught the attention of the Hot Creations camp as they recognised his undeniable talent. 

Impressing us all with his debut EP ‘Walk On’, Patrick made it to no.5 in the Beatport Deep House chart, with his tracks being championed by Pete Tong on his legendary BBC radio 1 show. His next EP ‘Any Amounts’ was one of the biggest releases of the year for Hot Creations with all tracks making it in the top 10 in the tech house charts and staying there for weeks.

At 24 years old, Patrick first built a DJ career around playing at his own popular club night in Newcastle (Motion), where he booked and played alongside some of the biggest names in the business. This year he made his Ibiza debut, at no less than DC10 for Paradise in July and continues to make his name heard on the international stage with plenty of gigs lined up.

Things look set to be big for Patrick next year with a track signed to the Defected Miami CD coming early next year and remixes on the way for Circus Recordings and Resonance Records.

As an adolescent, he dreamt of playing in a rock group, but also discovered Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode, Front 242 and Detroit techno. After having created his own studio and put together a few mixes on a Roland Compuphonic synthesiser (yes, that’s where the name comes from...), Maxime aka Compuphonic soon found himself behind the decks at Dirty Dancing nights in Brussels and recorded his first tracks for Dirty Dancing Recordings. In 2006, his reputation exploded on the dance floor with the groovy "Emotion", produced in collaboration with Tiga and released on his label ‘Turbo’. In 2012 he released his highly anticipated "Sunset" Single on Get Physical - a piece of hedonistic house that is entirely characteristic of his style.

"We are the music that we create” once said Maxime Firket aka Compuphonic who is now another fine Belgian addition to the Exploited roster.

He brings his spontaneous, positive and accessible sound to the label. With this Radio Atlantis EP he continues his search for originality and emotion. The overall atmosphere is filled with the good kind of melancholia everyone likes to feel once in a while.

„Radio Atlantis”, the title track, starts with organ like sounds that are accompanied by a witty bassline, unique vocals and even some acid influenced pads.

„Walking On The Edge”, with the same relaxed vibe as his megahit „Sunset” on Get Physical, is different from Radio Atlantis but at the same time also the perfect match. The storytelling vocal leads you through the track and its extraordinary simplicity.

To top off all of this you can expect some more music from Compuphonic on Exploited. We’re looking forward already, you hopefully too.
