This mix is 100% inspired by a 3 week residency in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Being able to be in the vibes of the cradle of civilization is like none other in the world. For those of you who don't know, Addis Ababa is home to the African Union which makes it feel like a giant melting pot with all kinds of Pan-African sounds from across the continent. This is a collection of some of my personal favorite bops from the motherland (and a few UK jams as well) and snippet from one of the best Nollywood movies - don't debate me 😂.
