We are back this week with a beautiful mix from Japanese artist Lycoriscoris, also known as Yunosuke Senoo. His mix for AM weaves between classical, ethereal, and electronic to create the perfect balance of quiet bliss and serenity effortlessly.  If you are in the mood for some feels, take this mix on a walk through some trees  - aka Forest Bathing, and you will immediately be uplifted into the world of Lycoriscoris. His new album Chiyu is out now on Anjunadeep and brings the same emotional sensibilities with subtle driving beats, the perfect companion for this mix. So we suggest a doubleheader. Pair this with some junmai ginjo sake, and drift away.

Mia Aurora is a London-based melodic house and techno DJ and Producer. Drawing on influences from labels including Afterlife, Anjunadeep and Bedrock, Mia’s DJ sets range from melody driven house and electronica to darker, techno influenced releases.

Mia began her musical journey from an early age, becoming proficient in guitar and piano as well as songwriting and producing. In 2019, she graduated from the Abbey Road Institute following her studies in Music Production and Sound Engineering. During
her time at Abbey Road, she engineered records with artists including Moses Boyd, Poppy Ajuda and Mogli as well as working alongside industry leading producers and engineers.

Finding her sound in the electronic world, Mia quickly rose up through the DJ ranks, playing at iconic venues across London including Printworks, Fabric, Phonox and Egg London. She’s played events for London-based electronic label Anjunadeep, as well as supporting Yotto, Guy J, Adana Twins and Jody Wisternoff.

Kicking off 2022, Mia has taken her sound global, already playing DJ sets in Dubai and Tel Aviv, with more international shows to come later in the year including Albania, Ibiza and a headline India tour.

Juncyard Sessions returns for Season 2, and what a way to kick off...

Swedish DJ Juliah Jonsson, also known by her stage name @audeomusic, was raised in a small town in the north of Sweden. She found her passion for electronic music early in life and as she got older the passion for the industry grew stronger and a desire for DJing started to evolve. Her style ranges from Deep and Melodic house, to Progressive House and Breaks.

With eleven years of experience as a DJ, with gigs in Sweden, Paris and Manchester, she decided to take the big leap and move to England to make a career in music and is currently learning how to produce her own music so she can continue to share her passion.

Winning our DJ comp to play at Junc & Friends earlier in the year, her flawless mixing and emotive style was a massive hit with the team - and we knew we had to get her back for a guest mix...
