Tigre Discs té el plaer de presentar “Holes”, tema
d'avançament del que serà el seu primer treball,
una cinta que veurà la llum a finals d'octubre. 

Power Burkas vénen de la Plana de Vic però com
si fossin de California. Estem davant d'un
compendi de garatge influenciat pels sons punk.
Sense perdre l'essència més punk-rock recorda
als primers passos de Ty Segall i Mikal Cronin o 
bandes com Adolescents o Bad Brains. 
Música agresiva i fosca, sense renunciar a la 
immediatesa de les melodies del punkrock.

El disc ha estat gravat al seu propi local d'assaig
per Marc Antolí, entre una boira de greix i
brutícia, ingredients imprescindibles per la música
i sonoritat de Power Burkas.

Univers take a rest on their path. Between their acclaimed debut “La Pedregada” (Famèlic 2013) and their forthcoming LP, they get the time to introduce a mini EP reference.
Coedited between Tigre Discs and Famèlic Records. The two songs in “Cavall Daurat”
(Golden Horse in English) define a continuity point with their immediate past. A kind of pop that lives within the noise to offer you very inspired melodies, cold patterns and a summer
feeling, a magic sensorial contradiction. Steady as they go, Univers have gone over a long path in a very short time, what took them to get a unanimous acknowledgement from both, the press
and the public. On this occasion they offer us a small tasting that goes through as fast as the stars light, giving us no other option than playing the record again.

Univers-Cavall Daurat

 Life sometimes creates unexpected alliances. Music does it too. On this Split we have YORCHH (Néstor Sevillano) from Alicante, and Joey Fourr, project led by the London based Joseph Prendergast. One brings the storm, the other the calm. If something joins them together it definitely is the lo-fi essence and the way in which it’s done: Home recording till death.
On Yorchh’s side, we come across a substantial change in relation to his past works. Less saturated, introducing drum machine samples that make the whole thing a bit more synthetic and less noisy. 
Nevertheless, the punk spirit is still present, tending to lead into epic pop melodies. Four tracks that are a clear step forward, undressing his compositions, opening a new era for YORCHH.

On the other side we find the prolific Joey Fourr, finally set as a trio, offering four songs of pure lo-fi pop, walking in between art music and chill sounds. Their songs only bring you comfortable sensations. Music that relaxes you with a tremendous delicacy and pop sensibility. 
A chorus and tremolo drenched guitar is used to reach their destination: catchy, gorgeous and imperfect pop hits.
