A sure taste of what's to come in the months ahead as I acclimatize myself with my gear and release some tunes like animate dust. I taught myself bass for the whole album, remembering the style of an old bandmate// I am using a SP404sx which I bought when I was living in a tent to afford it, Critter and Guitari Organelle-a groovy little synth-cum-sampler- and a little mixer to keep things as DAWless as possible. The whole album was written while being kick out of my studio and moving lots of furniture around. My inspirations are pure and direct// 'Amba Parameshwari' was fueled by word of a murder near where I went to school and how women should feel safe at night, a native elders reaction to a high school kid at a Native Peoples March in America. It ends with a prayer to the divine mother// 'Moon Flower' was written as a little ditty for a young lady I swiped right on Tinder, a beautiful bird she had rested on her right shoulder, and my imagination// The erection and foreseen effects of 5g towers concretized a track I wrote about the Dakini, in Avery for Today// 'Watermelon Sugar' is a homage to the late great beatnik writer Richard Braughtigan, who seems to make more sense every time I read his words// You have been listening to the Tilak Project and this was the Rainbirds Pattern//
