Written for the many lovely talents and the hearts full of love and beautiful creativity, that are brutally burned down and at the same time freeze bitterly in worst dire need. They lie in rubble and ashes with their deeply wounded souls full of the worst pains.

I used the well-known accompanying chords of the national anthem as the sole basis for the prelude and arranged it and the well-known second part for:

This one started off nearly a year ago, when the Eclectic Collective was just coagulating, and is the first one to feature Tez, Ken, JJ, and Josh on a song. JJ came up with it, drawing from his deep well of creativity, on the electric piano and bass, and shared it with the rest of the us. Starting with Ken, who added a phenomenal drum track to work with. Josh then added his guitar in a way that tried to emulate Miles Davis, albeit just an impression. Then we asked Tez to mix it for us, which he did ably as ever, and we released it early last spring. 
  However, Tez, being the always tinkering producer that he is, decided to dust it off and give it a new bass line to match the ferocity of Ken's drums. He then remixed it and added some production effects, making the song it was meant to be. We hope you enjoy listening to this as much as we enjoyed making it.

This song has had a facelift, I originally wrote it back in 2001, then I rewrote parts of it in 2020 during the pandemic, then I recently touched it up a bit and produced a video for it. It's a little weird but I tried to convey the feeling when you're starting to lose your mind and life becomes harder and harder to deal with, it's a bit Grungy. I had to edit it down because it was like 6 minutes long! If you watch the video when I post it on YouTube, it will all become clear! It's a bit disturbing so listen with an open mind! This is not for everybody, I've had this buried for like over 20 years. This audio is from the video that's why it's so noisy.

This song was written for piano by Hitoshi Yasui, chairhouse of Tokyo, who was generous in allowing me to arrange and record it for guitar. It is from his "Piano Ten Thousand Leaves" project. His mission “is to create gentle, calm, peaceful, beautiful, relaxing piano music and share it with all human beings." He writes, records and posts one beautiful piano composition each day. A tribute to the heavy origins I wrote on July 1994: two alternating riffs and a 3rd theme for a rest; little by little encouraging voice and of course, distortion on rhythmic and solo guitars.

I'm a (former) cellist, soprano recorder-, piano-, etc. -player. The violoncello has inspired me since early childhood. 

1977: Several years soprano recorder solo lessons, private teacher.
1981: Some years private cello lessons with her husband, cellist of Alte Oper Frankfurt/Main.
1985-1991 Cello lessons at the conservatory of Akademie fuer Tonkunst Darmstadt, music theory, ear training courses, 2 years piano lessons ibid. 1st and solo cellist in school orchestra, family chamber music and other occasions, bass in school choir, cornet in my father's car, etc. ... 

I particularly like to think back to the first student exchange between Hungary and Germany in 1989, after the borders were opened, in which I took part twice with the school orchestra of my high school in Szeged in southern Hungary shortly before my ‘Abitur’. Later, I travelled there again privately with my cello.

I grew up in Southern Hesse and began composing in Darmstadt, just before my father was diagnosed with an orange-sized glioblastoma, shortly before Christmas in 1989. 

His passing at the age of 48, nine months later, came at a time when I was preparing for my Abitur in Music and Biology. For finger tendons health reasons, I had to consider music as a hobby after school instead of starting a professional career as a cellist after Gymnasium. Since 1993, I have lent my piano to a family for life, so to speak, with whom I have no contact today. 

After school and then 15 months of diaconal inpatient geriatric care as an alternative to military service, I briefly studied at the tax office authority, but left it soon to pursue a career as a music retailer, specialized in classical and Orff etc. instruments, sheet music, and sound carriers. After IHK and practical examination in Bonn, I managed a ‘one-man’ music store branch for four years. Then I transitioned into the book trade.

Married since 2003 and nowadays living in Baden Wuerttemberg, I'm currently on disability retirement after a shoulder surgery 2014.

But music still lives in me, and I love to compose. You will hear Noteperformer 4 or other software-plugins within Dorico Pro 5 instead of recordings. I use Dorico since September 2023. Prior to this, I used the German Capella program for many years, then also MuseScore for a few months, and, traditional, paper and pencil. 

All of my compositions are available as PDF file sheet music, unless stated otherwise in the description, for noncommercial use upon receiving a personal and confidential request. 

I feel blessed through music, that's why I share it for free. 

The cello works I love the most are the concert pieces for cello and orchestra by Max Bruch, especially Kol Nidrei, which I was taught at the conservatory, and I love the music of Ralph Vaughan Williams, who took lessons also with Max Bruch. And, of course, I like many more composers and genres/styles as long as they touch my musician's heart...
