Dieser Song fängt den Kampf mit Erschöpfung, aufdringlichen Gedanken und dem Gefühl ein, die Kontrolle über den eigenen Verstand zu verlieren. Durch rohe Bilder und dunkle Metaphern spiegelt er sowohl persönliche Turbulenzen als auch den überwältigenden Druck der modernen Gesellschaft wider, zusammengefasst in der Vorstellung eines ständigen „sozialen Drucks“. Doch unter dem Chaos liegt eine fragile Hoffnung, dass sich etwas ändern könnte, die Verzweiflung wird dabei mit der Suche nach innerer Stärke ausbalanciert.

"Love and hate exhibit striking similarities: Both are extremely strong, intense emotions that create a deep emotional and existential bond between people, often accompanied by strong emotional arousal and an immediate urge to react. They activate similar brain regions and generate intense inner tension."

This is a simplistic definition of two things that, one might think, couldn't be more different. Yet, there are many things that are closer than one might believe...

With this inspiration, my new track "Love and Hate" was recorded live and directly. I used my Roland SH-4d, a Microkorg, as well as my Microfreak. Recorded with a Zoom recorder and post-processed in Cubase. I hope you like it. I'm grateful for any feedback.
