Paul kommt aus dem Süden Deutschlands (Heilbronn), wo er alskreativer Kopf hinter der Veranstaltungsreihe „Oasis“ und dem
Kollektiv „Kulturverein Oase“ längst einen festen Platz in derlokalen Szene eingenommen hat. Seinen Sound beschreibt er als„Genrefluid“, das heißt, er überschreitet Genre-Grenzen und legtden Fokus auf einen ganz bestimmten Vibe.

Unter seinem neuen, gegen Ende 2022 gegründeten Alias: DJFEELTOOMUCH, bleibt er am Zahn der Zeit und entdeckt mit der
New Trance Wave eine neue musikalische Facette von sich.Schon im letzten Jahr konnte Paul sich für den Sound begeistern
und arbeitete sich schnell in die Tiefen der neu aufblühendenSzene ein. Wie sein Alias schon verrät, sind seine Sets geballte
Gefühlsausbrüche an denen er seine Fans teilhaben lässt.

Auch als Produzent nimmt Pauls Karriere Form an. So hat ernicht nur vielversprechende Kollaborationen ausstehen, sondernauch einen neuen Edit, der bereits innerhalb weniger Tagegroßen Anklang und Support findet.

Since the 90s, the characteristic 303 acid sound has been one of the main elements in most electronic DJ sets. We dedicate a series of online mixes from talented artists, which will contain those smiley-facing sounds. Electro, techno, rave, breakbeats, house, acid acid acid! Every month, a 1-hour acid mix will be uploaded on our Soundcloud!

October is our big acid month! Of course, we are back with an On Acid mix, and this time, it will be by JA:NE (now BEAU NO GO)! Next to working in the dance sector in Amsterdam, she, as a DJ, mixed some classic acid dancefloor belters in this edition of On Acid. The mix is filled with artists by whom she is massively inspired in the last years she started playing music, ranging from techno to trance and early rave. This style is the story behind JA:NE. Get ready and get “in the mix”!

"Acid is exciting to me, a sound full of infinite discoveries. It brings me back to my first (illegal) raves, where I discovered the typical sound at unique infinite places. It gives me a feeling of freedom, with excitement as electricity through my nerves."

"As is usual, I did a mix that progressively builds in energy and tempo. Groove and rhythm serve as the common thread, with tracks spanning various genres. I enjoy eclectic selections featuring complex rhythmic sections, drawing from dub, bass, and Latin influences. The percussive cuts often carry a distinct UK flavor, tailored for energetic dancing and powerful sound systems. Towards the end, the mix becomes more trippy, adopting a minimalist tech vibe."

"I woke up today feeling heavy with all the war news lately. So this mix I started with exactly what I felt, dark, intense with some dark industrial techno, but stick with it and it slowly shifts. I needed to build towards something brighter, more hopeful, like a future that I wanted to see. Think of it as my way of processing the chaos and holding onto belief that things can get better. Hope you feel the journey."

Patch Notes:

Momentary mute groups using the AXON-2 A and B Buttons as Cross Op sources on Pamela’s PRO Workout. 

Starting with a full track sequenced by the Pam PRO, the A and B buttons of the AXON-2 are set to function as two Cross Operation sources from Pam’s BPM menu. The Cross Ops for each of the four outputs triggering the drums are then set to ‘Subtract’ with the sources set to either Axon A or Axon B depending on the desired ‘Mute Group’. When pressed, each of the Axon buttons produces a gate which subtracts from the gates sequenced at the outputs, causing them to mute momentarily until the Axon button is released.
