Brainchild is a French DJ based in Paris. Her love for techno was born in the vibrant underground scene of Buenos Aires, where she immersed herself for three years. Back in Paris, she used her experience to craft her own sonic universe, infused with tribal textures and shaped by the immersive energy of mental and hypnotic techno.

She has since carved out her own path—rooted in emotion, contrast, and raw rhythm. Her sets blend hypnotic layers with groovy, high-energy pulses, creating a space where movement becomes meditation. Brainchild invites the crowd into a liberating flow, where sound becomes both escape and expression.

SEVEN House Mix 044: SALIMATA

Germany-based Natalie Robinson is a champion for soulful house, weaving together the threads of her American/Ghanaian upbringing with her clubland one and bringing her identity as a young queer artist to the fore. In seven short years, she’s gone from apprentice to high-flying selector, firing up crowds at some of Berlin’s most esteemed cultural spaces and leaving a trail of sweaty dancefloors in her wake. Through her many bookings, a narrative line has emerged in her work, a dialogue with the energy on any given night but also with herself, in which she constantly strives to stay authentic and true to her roots. It’s a kind of reverence to the music that made her too: “when I weave in tribal percussion or gospel-inspired vocals, I’m paying homage to the communal spirit that shaped house from the beginning.” And so it goes on, Bassiani Podcast 277 carries that flame onward. This one’s an hour-long number with all of her usual bells and whistles, a smooth and joyful exploration of house, r’n’b breaks and other syncretic moods, groove-fuelled tunes with a spring in their step. An upbeat manifestation of resistance and full-throttle number from a maturing voice on the Berlin scene.

My name is Khanh, born in Vietnam and now a French citizen based in Paris. My journey into electronic music began in my early 20s, inspired by my first nights out in clubs. It was at 27, while exploring record shops, that I truly immersed myself in underground culture. This marked the start of a passion: I began collecting records and eventually stepped into DJing after acquiring my first pair of turntables.

Khanh -  [ For SEVEN, I’ve prepared a vinyl set tailored for the club scene. Recorded at home with my trusty Technics SL-1200MK2 and a DJM 750MK2, the only DJ equipment I own. While I don’t identify as a “Vinyl-only DJ,” I greatly enjoy crafting 100% vinyl sets to preserve and celebrate this timeless art. ]

After a turbulent summer,  i finally made it to give my recordings of the summer season a listen. I loved the whole vibe of this cute @dieletztewiese gathering . And for me playing at the REFLEKTOR Stage and especially during daytime, felt a bit more gloomy but still very tribal, shake-your-asses-vibe. Get ready for a more daytime, but still very straight-forward Techno set.
