10 years ago Horizons Music released their first ever piece of music, a track going by the name of '10 steps', produced by Skitty. Since that epoch making moment, the label has evolved into a staple of the Drum & Bass scene, becoming a byword for consistency and quality in the process. It is therefore fitting that ten years on, some of the labels regulars come together to produce a masterful 14 track album, that encompasses everything Horizons is about.
 
A quick flick through the roster for the album tells you everything you need to know. Stalwarts of the scene Digital and Spirit make both individual and collective appearances, providing their trademark blends of invention and raw energy. Break delivers a quintessential effort and Jubei steps up to bring his own relick to Skitty's '10 steps'. Another remix of Horizon's inaugural release comes courtesy of label regulars 'Amoss – doing the original justice superbly.
 
Amoss also take up their place beside label favourite Nickbee in taking on individual efforts, whilst artists as well renowned as DLR, Need for Mirrors, Mako & Hydro, Silent Witness, Detail and Scar make a strong a line up as you are liable to see on any release this year.
 
Musically, it is Horizons all over. From the Thunderous crunch of 'Outta Time' and 'In the Moment' to the deeper cuts of 'Piano Licks and 'Fields', this is an ode to quality. Add in the brilliant experimentation of music like 'Organic' and 'Keep me in the Loop' and you have an album that is worthy of representing 10 years of Horizons Music.

Brothers D-Code & Psylence prove that their collective talent runs in the family, with their penchant for deep melodic grooves and an amalgamation of styles shining through their forthcoming single on Program. Having already premiered on the label through their part in its Program 100 series, they follow up with brand new selections ‘Can’t Leave you Alone’ alongside Laville and ‘Just Might Fall’ featuring Meron T.

The inversive moods of both tracks, with each providing a drum & bass counterpart, set the tone. ‘Can’t Leave you Alone’ draws you in and out of its motions through Laville’s mellowed vocals, which has its tempo flipped for the single's next offering. Similarly, ‘Just Might Fall’ presents a multitude of emotions through its sonics, before it’s given a more upbeat rework. So once again, it’s time to get with the Program. One leaving you to bask in the lushness of D-Code & Psylence.
