Desinformant aka Pedro Braga was born in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, and is currently based in Naarm, Australia. In 2017 he became a part of his hometown’s emerging music scene and got involved in a number of projects, going from illegal street raves to warehouses to the most prestigious local venues, such as Deputamadre Club and Tikal. In 2019 he moved to Australia and shortly after became one of the minds behind Rolê.

In the years that followed, the pandemics shone a light on world leaders' behaviors and strategies. Disinformation and fake news became widespread, and in this context, the dubious character Desinformant was born.

In 2021 Pedro started studying music production at the Melbourne branch of German academy United Pop and in 2022 he started releasing original music under the alias Desinformant, having had tracks released by record labels Ovelha Trax, Your Character and Angels Gun Club.

Tilt Shift sits firmly left of center, a difficult-to-label square peg that unintentionally fails to fit a pigeonhole. Borrowing from the photography term, Tilt Shift refers to two different types of movement, a selective focus with a large depth of field used to control perception.  This can be applied to our music policy, tilting the vertical axis resulting in a sharp area of focus without reducing the depth of field.  The selective focus that can be achieved by both tilting and shifting movements, It's compelling because the effect is different from that which you may have become accustomed to.  This movement is often used to avoid the convergence of parallel lines, or as we have come to think of it, it’s where the lines blur.
