Song based on the Orpheus legend - of him entering Hades, the underworld to rescue Eurydice, to bring his love 
back into the world of the living, only to lose her again because he looked back before she had escaped Hades- she slipped back into the land of the dead, he grief stricken 
singing laments on the shore, until he is killed by demons,
and his body lies still wailing at a river’s bed.
