? Am i alone in the dark (collab Paploviante)

I made this track on my old electronic piano - programmed rhythm: Acid Jazz. I experimented by here and there making a part double of the recorded rhythm and change the pitch of the drum... in that double.

As usual i used effects on my voice and layered ...(sorry i can't help doing that haha).

Very simple lyrics,  but bottom line: we are living so fast that we don't notice it's going bad with the people around us, or even with ourselves.... 
We ask polite: "Are you OK?" but never want to hear "it's not OK?"
In this sick society we can have an important role to play to make a difference for someone.

i made lyrics about an expedition...not the kind of journey to discover the environment, but the one we do exploring ourselves and renewing.

Singing is for me a "sine qua non"... I did several vocal lines and made it faster and more robot-sounding (added samples, dallek sounds, synth); i even played on my guitar (Eko Est 1959) some notes. Hope you enjoy!

蘿蔔絲 luóbosī—Carrot Shreds, was one of my nicknames. In a time of even more distance to the political tendencies in China, growing totalitarianism, new cult of personality, and saber rattling, you start to wonder what is left of your intercultural dreams. My blurry hopes and experiences got exorcised into shreds to dissolve in the full consciousness of my own stupidity. Moooncake-shaped piece with a wrapper—Beijing Opera from Hell—and a central song. It was directly inspired by artist Yan Jun (yanjun.bandcamp.com) and three performances I was part of in 2007, under the name of 馬恩列斯毛 (ma-en-lie-si-mao; Marx-Engels-Lenin-Stalin-Mao) or “More Less More” in Beijing.
