Hailing from the ‘other side‘ straight to Northern Germany Brooklyn based Pattern Drama and LA-resident Tara Brooks deliver with ‘Maraquba‘ the latest catalogue number of Underyourskin Records. The EP‘s eponymous track – coming with remixes from Nico Stojan and Marques Wyatt – takes electronic music not only next level but rather into its future by combing two striking musical trends from the past: deep synth patterns and sounds and oriental influences. The outcome is a driving sound spectacle whipping one over the dancefloor like a desert storm. ‘Apotholite‘, the EPs second track, starts off like a proper Deep House tune before switching lanes and speeding right into a mystical spheric deeply going under your skin ride through the folklore of Eastern Europe and Arabia.

sinnmusik* present their 5th vinyl in the form of a action packed split EP.  The Back ‘n’ Front series reaches it’s 3rd edition with the help from data transmission favourite and good friend Jamie Trench and label veteran Georgi Barrel. If you familiar with sinnmusik*’s output then you’ll have heard Jamie’s cracking EP for the label already and if not you are in for a treat as he opens the record up with a BUMP.

Bump is a drum work out that is tough and funky ready to assault the darker corners of clubland. It’s the smaller elements that’s truly define this track as it weaves in and out of it’s tense moments. Jamie’s inherent knack for an infectious groove really give this track a life of its own. His other offering is our Debut Transmission for today “The LBO” is where we see Jamie flexing his more melodic muscles with a tonally rich riff over a swarm of lush heavenly pads, think hazy late-summer parties.

Green's side-winding, ethereal electronic music is showcased once again as serene, soft chords pave the way for glitchy riffs and bellowing bass stabs. The track evolves all the way through it's run time and it built for the clubs so it's unsurprising that it appears towards the end of the mix for that last-minute injection of weight.

He does so in style with a splendid three track release. We're delighted to present you a snippet from the EP in the form of a full premiere of 'Mesoplodon' - this is an epic cut, a pulsating eight and a half minute trip along an underwater highway. No stranger to Rebellion, LA based DAVI returns to the label once more with his wonderfully smooth ‘Metropolis EP’ containing four original tracks. Distinguished for his layered and highly skilled production, DAVI has created an atmospheric EP.

"Metropolis is the continuation of my previous EP’s on Rebellion that represent the stories from ancient history. This topic has been a big influence for me for quite some time and I am happy to say that my story is finally complete with this EP”. DAVI  

His musical path began after he joined the Vocal Department of Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory at a young age. Now much older, DAVI is a DJ, producer, music composer and remixer whilst also regularly touring the world. His music has enabled him to grace the crowds in venues such as Avalon, Black Rock City and Monday Night Social, and release on labels including Outside the Box Music, Treibstoff, Nine Records, Stripped Music Recordings and Bits & Pieces.

Partial PR: The 45th release on microCastle welcomes Navar & Mononoid to the label for the debut of their collaborative project. Dutch artist Navar returns to the Canadian imprint following his 'Moments In Life EP' from November of 2014. As one of the underground's most creative talents Navar has shaped a sound all his own, full of soulful qualities and organic design. Appearances on Guy J's Lost & Found Records coupled with a sparse release schedule has only made the love for his sound stronger. Meanwhile Mononoid, also hailing from the Netherlands are making their much anticipated label debut. First conceptualized in  2011, Andy Godderis and Igor Shumlyanskiy make up the Mononoid production duo. A string of releases on Traum got their career off to a great start and their modern take on techno has since been showcased by Einmusika, Lost & Found and Sisyphon. Much like Navar, Mononoid have been praised for their creative vision and the fusion of  these three intuitive minds was a project that had to be put into motion. Some winter months locked away in the studio has resulted in the much anticipated three track EP entitled 'Dreambox',  alongside a remix from YokoO of Musik Gewinnt Freunde and All Day I Dream.

The lone interpretation of 'Ad Litem' is provided by YokoO who is making a welcome first appearance on the label. The French born artist, long term Australian resident, now calls Berlin, Germany home where his inspiration has flourished. YokoO's unique approach to house music has touched the hearts of electronic music fans all over the world, and filled his discography with emotive creations on All Day I Dream, Musik Gewinnt Freunde and Kindisch. His warm, melodious approach has worked wonders on  'Ad Litem'. Tailoring the production down both in scope and tempo, YokoO has reshaped the track into a laid back, emotive piece which comes from the heart, as he describes "Sydney, early December 2015. A sunny day by Bondi beach, a broken heart desperately seeking understanding & healing, a desire for things to change, a pixie den, a light breeze blowing through the windows, hippies smoking weed around, 24 hours of immersion, a couple of swims and yoga classes in between . . . Et voila!"
