Hi!  I am a singer songwriter, guitarist and musician from London, UK.

I love making music and being creative; up for collaboration, hearing new things and being inspired.

I play / sing on all tracks (except where you hear drums).  My stuff is rock / indie, heavily influence by The Beatles, Stones, Queen etc.  

Recently I have discovered the joys of more electronic sounds and trying to use voice audio from well know sources to tell a story.... much easier than writing lyrics and singing.

Either way, welcome, I hope you like... or if you hate, great too.  Better to get a reaction than no reaction.

I'm a Singer-Songwriter who loves playing live and recording original songs on my Boss Micro-BR 4-track. My style is mainly acoustic-based Brit-Pop, with some folk, synthpop, psychedelia, rock and blues thrown into the mix. My main aim though is to write great songs, no matter what the style. 

Although guitar is my main instrument, I enjoy adding other things to my songs: bass, piano, mandolin,  uke, autoharp, & synth. I also use ThumbJam and Garageband when the need arises. 

As well as my solo stuff, I'm also guitarist & co-songwriter in the band Jemima's Kite, with James Higgins, Mike Fife, Geir Alfsen and Jarle Alfsen.

Smoking Nun Syndicate are into retro-flavoured electronica. Inspired by artists such as Kraftwerk, Gary Numan, Yellow Magic Orchestra, Heaven 17 and Visage, they aim to make dance music that nobody will want to dance to. Dancing is for strange, optimistic people. These are tracks for strange, pessimistic people. Smoking Nun Syndicate were formed whilst putting jam in the jammy dodgers at a biscuit factory. Their path to un-fame has been long and uneventful, taking in trips to antique fairs and afternoon naps on the sofa. They are as inspired by brutalist architecture and Bauhaus design as music. There is no manifesto, no rules, no expectation: just red wine and groove. All tracks are original and composed by Smoking Nun Syndicate. You better believe it.

The Confederation is a melting pot of musical dna fusing styles from the golden past, vibrant present and exciting future of music.
