For my sister Janette.
Who died in horrific circumstances on the 5th of February 2022.
This is how I have interpreted the last phone call we had after she was sectioned to a psychiatric ward 75 miles from her home. 

The track starts as I ring the ward and talk to the staff member who takes the phone to Janette who is screaming and sobbing uncontrollably in utter mania and desperation, she screamed she wanted to kill herself but couldn't cos they'd taken all her things from her. 

The quite parts are where she snatches a breath and I have a chance to say, "Janette it's Tim your brother, I love you, I love you so much."
Until I broke down myself sobbing uncontrollably  stabbing at my phone to end the call, blurting I'm sorry, I'm so sorry.

She died 3 days later, still under section. 

I could only do one take and I can't listen to it again. 

My sister had serious mental health problems, she heard voices and saw things no one else could. 

She was under local authority care!! 
Well fuck them.

It has been a highlight to work with you and create this special tribute to all those who are no longer with us, and then with a special thought for the children
The song tries to honor these children and paint the endless grief we all feel when children die in a completely insane war.

During our work, this link appeared, where Pink Floyd reappeared in a fantastic tribute together with Andriy Khlyvnyuk of Boombox. An incredibly touching gesture.

I have not been able to recover access to my other account [https://soundcloud.com/ha-kekong] for a couple of years.  I have tried a few times to get back into it but SoundCloud doesn't trust me.  Same phone number, same email addresses, and they still claim that they can't verify my identity.  I created that account about three years ago as a substitute to my regular account which SoundCloud temporarily closed.  They closed it as part of some upgrade procedure in their system, the result of a bug that affected many accounts, about two years ago.  Since SC did not inform its users I didn't know if that was permanent or not, so I created that other account which I can't access.  Don't be mad if I have not replied to your message in the past two years, that's because I never got them ; ) ... You can always reach me here though.

You can't see it because of the angle with which I took the shot, aiming down, but beyond those blocks is the sea.  To the left is the Mediterranean, to the right is the Atlantic Ocean.  No it's not Gibraltar, but a little bit further West. ... Actually I checked recently and it is further North more than West, I thought I was facing South when in fact I probably was facing the Atlantic ocean, which is why I suppose the waves were of a decent size where we were.

These days, everything is recorded through my Mackie Onyx 8 analogue mixer.  I prefer to create sounds on my analogue synths but you'll also hear sounds created with my Korg Wavestate and Roland S-1.  All percussion/drums are played by me on my Native Instruments Maschine Mikro Mk3, where I spend a lot of time manipulating samples to hopefully get something original sounding.
