Not quite midnight, performed as the children's fireworks exploded in the distance. Bouzouki, bells, micro amp feedback, bow. Alexandra Battery is an historic site in Hobart with semi-underground chambers that have great acoustics.

Improvised on an out-of-tune upright piano in October 2019. The audio is taken from a video recorded on a phone so the sound quality isn't great. No editing, any mistakes and extraneous sounds left in. The album Something In the Way is available from my Bandcamp as of the 5th April 2020, digital-only.

Piano Improv 1... (from Something In the Way, 2021, on Frustration Jazz)

Free/drone/acid folk, often visited by the Greek blues. May also contain traces of free improv, noise, primitive instrumental & other psychedelic musics. Solo recordings mostly six-string bouzouki, with and without electricity.

Various instruments in other ultra-obscure projects including Melbourne duos The Drunken Boat and Bourgeois Bigots, and a bunch of stuff in Hobart including The Lean Inns (formerly Learners), Untermorast, The For Now and Soundtracks Will Dissolve.

Solo/band releases on Chemical Imbalance, Albert's Basement, Doctor Guten Tag and Frustration Jazz, the last of which is a label I run.
