Seven and a half exhilarating hours from one of modern club's sharpest.

Tim Reaper's mammoth entry for RA.1000 is all about range. You thought the Future Retro London boss was just a jungle and hardcore head? Think again.

The mix's infinite-scroll tracklist (the longest we've ever published in full!) includes a who's who of top-rate producers, from A Guy Called Gerald and Cari Lekebusch to Batu, Mia Koden and the one and only Shackleton.

Opening with weighty grime and ending on head-spinning drum & bass, the mix journeys through US club, wobbly dubstep, classic techno and, of course, many shades of jungle. Rather than go the easy route, the Londoner approached the assignment with the curiosity, integrity and vulnerability of fellow shapeshifters like dBridge, Calibre and ASC.

"The idea was to represent other styles of electronic music that I've been a bit self-conscious about openly expressing my interest in," he told RA.

RA.1000 isn't just another side of Tim Reaper's artistry: thankfully for us, it feels like only the beginning.

Two years after releasing his monumental full-length album ::BLUE::, Danny Daze reopens the portal with a similarly inspiring remix LP comprised of 21 mind-bending reinterpretations. Across an interstellar lineup that stretches from techno futurists to experimental beatmakers, the project magnifies the scope of the original album while deepening its hypnotic core. 

Few artists in modern electronic music have the multi-genre fluency of Danny Daze. His sprawling 19-track odyssey ::BLUE:: was a reflection of an artist who has spent nearly three decades teleporting club goers between worlds - from the left-field IDM and electro roots of his Miami upbringing in labels like Schematic to the forward-thinking club sounds found on his label Omnidist. Daze expands his sonic universe once again to a new generation of producers, refracting its DNA through a diverse collective of voices. 

The remix album reads like a map of Daze’s extended orbit, reflecting the world around Omnidisc and the broader network that has grown with it. Label veterans Vril and Ruxpin deliver standout performances, while heavyweights Daniel Avery and Machinedrum push the sonic boundaries. 

Daze has used Omnidisc as a platform to usher in a new crop of Miami talent, evidenced in “Silver Box” - the collaboration on ::BLUE:: with Nick León and Jonny From Space. Jonny’s latest endeavor in Crespi Drum Syndicate showcases a menacing percussive workout - a theme found across other remixes from Miami artists Coffintexts, Greg Beato, and Roiju. 

This remix album introduces fresh faces to the Omnidisc roster, with a star-studded international lineup with talent that spans from Mexico City to Amsterdam. Nadia Struiwigh, Paurro, Reptant, Tim Reaper, and Tristan Arp cover the kaleidoscope of sounds from downtempo dreams to frenetic 160+ energy. Other standouts come from Black Rave Culture and Dengue Dengue Dengue. 

This range mirrors Daze’s own approach as a DJ, where eight-hour marathon sets often move seamlessly from electro and Miami Bass through techno and left-tempo studies without breaking the narrative. Recent plays in Detroit alongside Octave One, New York City with Gene On Earth, and Lentekabinet with Identified Patient continue to underline that versatility — the kind of programming that connects dance-floor hypnosis with cerebral listening. 

With this remix LP, Omnidisc once again acts as both a label and a meeting point for creative dialogue... a reflection of the Miami scene’s evolving voice and Daze’s continued commitment to pushing it outward.

Jungle would not exist without samples, and sampling culture. The foundational bedrock of the genre – the break – are isolated drum sections from older records, most notably the break from The Winstons' "Amen Brother". This re-imagining of classic soul, jazz and R&B music often extends to the melodic samples in jungle, creating a distinctive softer side to the genre, recalling slow jams and emotive ballads.
