Wheels touch down on the tarmac slab
can't hitch a ride so we phone the cab

one quick look around take us to the show

an hour left till we take the stage
head throbs like a mix with grenadine
can't keep the pace while you're on parade
can't feel yourself, so you medicate

Left lane love laid dreams too fast
hanging by a thread from the overpass
stepping on stones while throwing glass
changing lanes will see you pass

dancing kids out on the lawn 
summer soon has come and gone
the sun has set, rock till the dawn
or just until we change the song

Dancing Kites is Tim Rogers exclusive solo work project. Until Tim finds a group of individuals to play with, all creative musical outbursts will be maintained under the Dancing Kites nomenclature. Tim has influences in rock, blues, jazz, swing, funk, folk, funk, edm, bluegrass, country, hip hop and has been playing music in some form or another for most of existence on planet earth. Recently in the last 10 years his focus has leaned more toward production of music and less toward playing live performances. He is eager to get back to playing on stage.
