We teamed up with Caribou Records to bring a memorable TAPE 012.

Canigou Records is a micro label specializing in textural, instrumental music, often improvised, sometimes experimental, and always on cassette. It was founded in London in 2016 and has since moved through various locations, forming connections and finding collaborators in Málaga, Madrid, Buenos Aires, Beirut, and Niamey.

This mix serves as a summary of all those collaborations over the years, featuring music from artists/friends from Estonia, Slovakia, Norway, Patagonia, Switzerland, England, Andalusia, the United States, and Wales. The mix portrays the variety that characterizes the label's music, using ambient as a starting point and expanding the genre as much as possible.

Raised on a sonic diet of experimentation, mood and melancholy, I am a musician whose background is in Beats, Samples and Soundtracks, mixed with the melodies of haunted tales. A magpie’s instinct for capturing moments in time and place. Intensify, manipulate, re-arrange and make the ingredients into something new.

Artists worked with include: Earthling, Portishead, Geoff Barrow, Julee Cruise, Ray Manzarek, Stephanie McKay, Intik, Mozella, Rhett Brewer, Kid Loco.
