This was my first time playing and recording my song “Whitney”, recorded live in one take with a friend’s acoustic guitar (while he, a drummer, played my electric guitar as accompaniment after showing him a few simple lead options!) I was introduced to making music from age 4 or 5 when my dad took me to his band practice every week where I’d make the rounds “playing” drums, keyboards, an old upright piano, guitars and his ‘68 Fender P Bass (or 70’s MusicMan Stingray Bass). I owe a lot to the generosity and kindness of each of the band members. They were the catalyst that started me on my own musical path of discovery and creation that feeds my soul to this day. I continue to write, record, perform and cover the songs that move me (from the gypsy jazz era to present day), and I’m grateful for the chance to share it with others.
