Hélène Vogelsinger, sonic explorer, composer, and sound alchemist.
This new opus continues to blur the boundaries between the spiritual and the sonic, 
offering a deeply immersive experience that reconnects with the self and the unseen.

With her signature fusion of minimalist sequences, ambient textures, and orchestral breaths, 
Hélène invites listeners to navigate the liminal spaces between disappearance and return.
If Ethereal Dissolution explored dissolution and memory, Reappearance evokes emergence 
and transformation, as if resurfacing from a long trance into a world both familiar and new.

Recorded between 2020 and 2023, and inspired by the silent energy of forgotten places and the echoes 
of solitude, this work extends a timeless dialogue between sound and soul, presence and absence.
More than an album, Reappearance is a ritual of return,delicate, hypnotic, and deeply resonant.

A few months back, anyone landing on this page was extended an invitation to….“come set for a spell in The Blue Room…..when nobody loves you.”  Well, took a while, but I reckon the word’s getting out amongst the broken hearted - this smoky little back-alley jazzabilly joint been seeing some semi-decent crowds lately.  Might have to add a couple more tables over there in that side area where we been storing the old feltless pool table.   

I dunno, maybe there really are a lot of lonely hearts out there, looking for companionship.  But my bet is that the real draw here is the new act on stage, as the house band is now joined by two long-time Atlanta musicians - Herb Avery and his Hammond organ, and Randy Hunter with his saxophone.   

For this version of the house theme song (aka The Blue Room), not only is my fumbly-finger organ solo replaced with Randy’s stellar saxophone, but I’ve put together a new intro, much more fitting for the new instrumentation.   And btw, brother Herbert not only plays his Hammond on the song, but that’s him you’ll hear on the background lounge piano as the track opens.

So yeah, come set for a spell (whether you're loved or not), and let Randy & Herb show you their stuff.

Welcome on my profile.

As a young boy, I learned to play the piano with my grandmother, who was a concert pianist. Thanks to her patience, I was brought closer to music. It was a hard but worthwhile way.

After I ended my school training and started my vocational training, the music got into the background. However, the music has accompanied me throughout my life. With increasing age, the music again got a greater status in my life.

First with the old piano of my grandmother, who had long since died and then with a keyboard, I started making music again.

I don't have a studied musical background and make music as a hobby without really had learned about orchestration. I find myself slowly into the topic and I am happy to have found some listeners.

Inspired by many lovely people, who also make music, I develop myself even at older age and look forward to further listeners.

Therefore, have fun hearing my modest works and thank you for the nice comments.
