This is the third song posted from the album Bitzone, Stricknice, Wou-Wou & the Wormling, and I have been working on together with a number of other friends on SoundCloud. The first song shared was the late 80s indie American underground inspired song, Ghosting Out, that include Bonetender joining with his transistor organ and guitar. The second song released was late 90s inspired Alternative Rock and Hip Hop song The Show / The Shrike Pt. 3 with Carlos Vivanco and Belial Pelegrim joining in the mix. 

All of the songs were written during the beginning of the COVID-19 Pandemic when the United States went into lockdown and Black Lives Matter protests where having a major impact. I think you can especially hear the influence of those times in this song. 

I am honored that My Hot Air Balloon accepted my invitation to join this track and that Eddie Shook was willing to add a radio spot into the mix. It is always a pleasure to work with the extremely talented Jonathan Beckenstein and Jamie Rhind. And huge thanks to Bitzone and Stricknice for adding so much creativity and music to this entire project! And as always, Wou-Wou rocks! I have made so much music with Wou-Wou over the years, it is incredible!

This is a very different track than the last track i uploaded here (Frozen lake). This is more like acid house. This is perhaps a new type of Acid House; meant to listen to in the bedroom or the living room. Not the dancefloor.

The title is a reference to Fatboy slims track "Everybody needs a 303"

This was brought to us by Mark, who had written it a while back, but wanted to dust it off and give the Eclectic Collective a shot at it. He recorded it with a keen eye toward collaboration with an electric piano synth with heavy stereo tremolo. We just recently found Mark, and he has proven to be a very creative, passionate, and easy to work with collaborator—all the good things.
Mark set it loose to me first, and I, of course, got Ken in on the act before anything else could transpire. After Ken added his wildly creative, very skillful drum beat, I was able to come up with a suitable bass line. I also came up with the lap slide part you hear with the heavy tremolo. Then we turned it over to Stephen, who added a very psychedelic, electrifying solo at the end. Also, JJ set upon it with a very hooky organ.
Last, but certainly not least, MD came up with the lyrics, which are a metaphor for trying to break into the business of music, and delivered them with his fiery vocals, too. Then, we all realized that the song wasn't long enough for our ambitions, so Ken came up with an idea for the arrangement, and lengthened the song to suit our needs. He also very ably mixed and produced this one for us. We had a lot of fun working on Mark's tune. We hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we enjoyed creating it.

Track 8, "Daylight of Wisdom", in my work-in-progress album "New Beginning": spontaneously composed in Logic Pro using Akai keyboard midi input in the evening of 13 January 2024 and arranged, mixed and recorded in the evening of 14 January 2024 in Logic Pro by Alex M, then posted on SoundCloud on 18 January 2024 (before the release of the album as a whole).

The album artwork cover, also used as the cover of each constituent track, was created in PowerPoint and annotated in Mac OS Preview on 19 July 2023 (and 5 January 2024, changing the year from 2023 to 2024 in the brackets of the album title).
