Born Timan Ochieng in Nairobi Kenya, Timan Teiro is a proud D.I.Y artist/ rapper and producer. He writes, produces and engineers his own music and insists that being hands on allows him to accurately translate his soul into his art the way he would like to. Rap, contemporary, alternative and world music among other genres have influence on Timan's art which allows him to blend them together and make unique sounds or morph into each one of them but not veering far away from rap which is his core. The proud DIY artist drew inspiration from artists like the late Riky Rick, Rexx Life Raj, J. Cole and a few rap legends in their art and life philosophies.
In 2017 Timan went to Africa Digital Media Institute to study music production, that would give him knowledge on how to produce his own music. 
Being a genre fluid artist, his sound has prints of hip hop, African elements, futuristic and experimental sounds.
