Born and raised in the south of Germany and now based in Berlin for the past four years, Jon H brings a raw and intuitive approach to the booth. His sound is deeply influenced by early 2000s Ostgut releases, blending minimal techno with deep house and classic house elements.

With a subtle yet driving style, his sets are playful, focused, and always rooted in a strong sense of groove and atmosphere. At 28, Jon represents a generation of DJs who move beyond trends, relying instead on instinct and honesty in their musical expression.

No big plans, no roadmap — just a simple philosophy:

I’ve always loved imperfections. They make me feel more connected to whatever it is. Could be a faded polaroid with dust on it, a single cloud in an otherwise clear sky, or a clap that sounds different each time it plays. There’s something about the unpredictability, the raw edges, that makes things feel more real. Especially in music, that’s what draws me in. So when Upperberry reached out, it felt like the right moment to gather tracks that carry that same imperfect energy and to explore my own path through sound, drifting from dub into house. Introducing Guest #21 on T2G

SIG.INT (Signals Intelligence) is a New Zealand-born, Sydney-based DJ and co-founder of HYPNO, influenced by deep, hypnotic, and atmospheric sub-genres of techno.

As the name suggests, SIG.INT had a fascination with long-range broadcast radio from a young age, owning specialised equipment that would allow him to receive signals from across the globe. These signals had a curiously spooky, distorted, and almost menacing sound as they were affected by the Earth’s atmosphere and even the sun.

His enthusiasm for electronic music and sound dates back to just 11 years old when he’d often request dance music from pop-centric radio stations, in the hope that these would play more to his interests. Growing up in New Zealand, where electronic music was dominated by drum and bass, he would also attend under-age DnB raves, which contributed to a fascination with the mechanics of a dance floor and nightlife in general. This no doubt contributed to where he is now at HYPNO, which seeks to curate memorable dance-floor experiences while showcasing local and international techno talent.
